Starfinder Team,
Thank you for this delightful first installment of the AP. I adore the Gazetter of Absalom Station! I am a "settings" GM and this gives me tons of details to sprinkle in.
My downloads are so happy!
Even better, my MAPS are shipping! Everyone, cross your fingers for me! I want these to arrive at my house before GenCon, so I can use my own maps!
I am the bounciest gnome in Absalom Station right now.
Boi-oi-oi-oing!
Hmm

The whole thing is pretty cool IMO. It gives you a nice low level intro to the whole game. There's some combat, some mystery/social stuff, a spaceship battle, some "dungeon" crawling and exploration, all wrapped up in some "introduce the players to the world" type stuff.
I particularly like your patron for the second part of the adventure and the item he's asking you to recover.

I have to admit Paizo have knocked it out of the park with the Starfinder setting! Every new planet and faction feels like there's half a dozen potential hooks, even the minor single page ones! Plus if every AP volume has similar content to what this one did I don't think it'll take long to fill out the world!

HMM is still reading through the background information. I don't think she has even looked at the adventure yet.
Evidently even though the Starstone provides limitless power, it still can't recharge batteries. Pg. 42 of the gazetteer.

Oh, I have read the thing, so I could answer some questions.
Villain for series? Well without spoilering too much, you know those movies were heroes are looking to find a thing before bad guys find a thing? Well, there are two groups of bad guys competing with each other and the heroes to find the plot macdoomguffin. End of the second chapter is like "Enjoying your new ship, cool- oh shit hostile ship out of nowhere" and next chapter begins with you figuring who attacked you. There are a lot of moments like that in summary of each of the campaign books. I don't know if there is single villain who shows up during several books of the ap.
Outside of the adventure my favourite thing about the book is the artifact in Relics of Golarion article, because of how "holy swear words, what the heck happened during gap for this to be thing now" :D Seriously, that artifact HAS to have a really cool backstory behind it

The Starstone may make someone into a God. But it cannot permanently charge your batteries.
My other takeaway on Absalom Station: Two Percent of the Population are gnomes! There are even a couple gnomes mentioned in the Gazeteer. Go, gnomes!
