Wand Wielding Magus in melee

Rules Questions

Dark Archive

I'm looking at building a wand wielding magus for PFS and I'm trying to figure out if I can make a melee touch attack with a wand of Ray of enfeeblement or other spell that is normally ranged touch?

You can if you have the Close Range Arcana.

Otherwise... No.

Also note that the wand wielder arcana refers to spell combat but not spellstrike.

I'm actually trying to avoid spellstrike as a tactic hence the appeal of wand wielder. I enjoy the challenge of trying to find non-standard builds that remain effective.

Scarab Sages

If you aren't planning on using Spellstrike, then nothing about the way a spell is delivered changes. Using a wand of ray of Enfeeblement, you deliver it as a ranged touch attack. You can do this in melee. Making the ranged attack will provoke (but activating the wand will not).
