Gun Metal Games is doing a couple of things for Starfinder; Descent Engine, and Interface Zero.
Descent Engine will be a series of source books providing your with tons of new places to explore, new races, gear and much more.
The Starfinder conversion of Interface Zero is underway, and we hope to have that ready very soon. If you've purchased the Pathfinder edition, you'll get the updated Starfinder version automatically.

Not sure if others have addressed this request, but -
I'd like one-shot single-session modules. My group and I don't have the time to invest in frequent sessions to explore long-running campaigns. I don't have the time to sit and develop my own standalones. I'd like something that runs in a long afternoon. Doesn't necessarily have to be tied directly in to the Starfinder Universe either.
While I like supporting third-party publishers... have you considered looking into the Starfinder Society line? From what you said there, I feel like 1-2 missions a session would be pretty good for what you seem to be looking for, whether or not you're doing them the 'official' way.

I am seriously considering writing up worlds for Starfinder - I enjoy worldbuilding, and developing a single "Lost World" that the PCs can encounter would be a fairly simple project with manageable development times. With a length of 10 pages or so - good enough to give an overview of the world without bogging down in the details.

That's awesome. Have had a lot of fun with Interface Zero 2.0 in the past and backed the Pathfinder conversion, but my group really doesn't touch Pathfinder much anymore. We're all pretty psyched for Starfinder, though, and Gun Metal Games makes some pretty solid content. I look forward to seeing what they produce.
Aside from that, I'd mostly just be interested in bestiaries. Alien Archive is only going to have around 80 species, no? While Pathfinder monsters can be converted without that much effort, you use too many of them and I worry it'll stop feeling like its own game. Plus, who doesn't love crazy aliens?

I'd like to see more planets from 3rd party publishers, and locations like spaceports, cities, and villages. I'd also like to see certain character options ported over to Starfinder, like psionics.
Also, keep an eye out from the same author, Kim Frandsen, as he's writing up some single biome planet releases that are fantastic and should be coming soon!

I think a lot of you are looking for something like this!
Small Stations and Tiny Outposts is finally ready to go here at Paizo!
Need a quick stop for your Starfinder campaign or other Sci-fi use?
Need a location for a ready-made encounter?
Need great art, NPCs and story hooks?
10 locations that can be used on Land, Air, Sea and Space for Zero-200 people.
10 matching role-play stories and NPCs with related story hooks! Location names are kept generic as are the human NPCs. This way you can rename, change race and locations to fit your own world!
What looks like a “futuristic sales catalog” from the fictitious Bloomfield Corporation with technical information for each location. This includes a slick overview art piece, a line drawing from overhead and a list of modules/areas/functions the outpost or station contains.
These can be used for a base of operations, a meeting place, the "inn" where everyone meets from a fantasy setting, the beginning of new settlement or location or just use it for a single one off adventure.
The underwater and mid-air locations are very rare but waypoints and research takes place all over.
Setup for Online use this PDF is easy to use and reference with great art to share. Several people have responded they will just use the art alone as inspiration.
Please feel free to discuss or ask question on the product link.

16 - 32 page modules, so we can all get a feel of adventure. No need need for any odd on pc options when I have a 500 page book to wade through
.....And no Mega Dungeons in space.
Sci fi should have short site based areas, that tell their tale succinctly without buckets of 3 metre corridors to explore!
IMO

While I agree with the above, I really hope that we see support from Lone Wolf, Fantasy Grounds and Roll20 with the launch in August (or even sooner, if they could get done for the Free RPG Day release June). For other 3PP, initially, I'd like to see more focus on setting and fluff (ie less crunch) as it will take time for everyone to get a full handle of the new rule systems.
For those that use Fantasy Grounds. I am currently developing a extension to allow Starfinder to be played using the Pathfinder ruleset. You can find it toward the end of the below thread
http://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?39638-Using-the-PFRPG-r uleset-to-Play-Starfinder
I have most of it done just a few things to get worked out and am in the process of the Equipment manual.

Today I put pen to paper and started working on this (pre edit notes):
SECTOR CRAWL: BEYOND THE BLACK EXPANSE
Sector Crawl: Beyond the Black Expanse is a 3-D hexploration set in a great beyond, for 1st level PC’s using the Starfinder role-playing game.
It promises great glory, or a grim death, for those who dare to try to uncover its secrets.
• An Adventure Scape (a sandbox in space) allowing the freedom to explore in any direction.
• A set of ancient mysteries, long-held legends, and hidden untruths to discover.
• A myriad of random and range encounters.
• Aliens to encounter, moons to explore, resources to exploit and entities to exterminate.
• Enough content to get PCs to at least 7th level.
INTRODUCTION
Of all the great mysteries in the universe, one fact had always been held to be true. There is nothing beyond the Black Expanse.
Smah’ala Space Station, orbiting the great class III sun prides itself at being the Bastion of the Last Breath. The anchor of civilisation, the final point of cheer, beyond which there is nothing.
This is all set to change.
It is well documented that each time a ship enters Hyperspace a slight, near undetectable tear is known to open into the planes beyond. Recently a tear has grown in stature. Some call it a Rift. Through this burgeoning gap signals are beginning to be detected. They come not from the planes elsewhere, but from beyond the black expanse itself. Or so the greatest minds thought.
A probe was hastily sent through and strange data arrays began to be broadcast back to the space station. Beyond all myth and legends, a Jump-Gate was detected. A crew of ready volunteers, some of the most experienced, intellectual, and bravest in the known worlds were sent through in the most modern and powerful ship able to squeeze into the fluctuating anomaly. Something went wrong, terribly wrong. Not only was all contact lost with the starship Herald but the rift began to become unstable and start to close. To the dismay of all, the chance to find an ancient Jump-Gate seemed diminished.
An eminent scientist, too old to travel she claims, found the cause of the catastrophe, the starship energy profile was very high and caused a calamitous interaction with the rift. She proposes a low tiered vessel, a basic explorer designation craft, could simply drift through the tear on minimal power, and survive. With its crew, intact.
This is where you come in.
..Looking forward to adding some space fantasy to my self-publication list.

I've mentioned before that I wanted a PFRPG bard/summoner-ish archetype/hybrid class based on the protagonist from Kubo and the Two Strings (Wikipedia spoilers inside; Netflix). I think it'd also be a cool inspiration for a new connection for Starfinder mystics, though maybe it'd need some new spells swapped in too.
As much as I wanted a Kubo, I'd love to see a Fe-inspired (game trailer, Kotaku preview) variant of Starfinder kitsune with their own racial bard-ish connection for mystics. Who wouldn't want to play an adorable character like Fe in Starfinder?

Still waiting Paizo approval, but I just uploaded Dead in Space by T. H. Gulliver, which is a series of five one-shot space horror modules set in the Cronusverse - my version of the Milky Way Galaxy with Earth as a part of it's back story. All five one-shots are written to be usable to multiple levels of parties say like - 2nd, 4th and 6th level or 3rd, 5th and 7th level. All encounters are scaled in CR for those specific levels.
I can say there is some inspiration from the Dark Matter universe with a plethora of MegaCorps vying for control of the galaxy amid a smattering of interstellar empires. Anomaly Investments is one such MegaCorp that initially hires the PCs - Anomaly is completely owned and managed by artificial intelligences.
Though I'm the publisher, my primary contribution is the map support, as I'm a professional cartographic illustrator. The product includes 5 deck plans and 2 planetary mining locations including a biodome area. All maps come as printable whole maps (in some cases 32 x 42 inches), as sliced to 8 x 10 for easy home printing, though some maps are sliced into as many as 60 sheets, and virtual tabletop ready files. So there's heavy map support for this product. While the main PDF is only 3 MB, there's over 200 MG of downloads with a purchase of this product.
We're already working on a followup to Dead in Space, with an established prison planet, where makeshift Mecha are put to use, called Chains of Purgatory, which strangely is a sci-fi novel idea I developed in college but never published. Trevor is putting that story into one-shot series form with this project.

As a separate product coming close to release, Starships, Stations and Salvage Guide by Edward Moyer is a rules supplement mostly covering starship building options.
There's 21 new starship frames encompassing living ships, zoomorphic ships, necroships and bandit/salvage ships; 47 expansion bay options; dozens of system upgrades (AI, armor, computers, defenses, shields, weapons and more), the Shadow Drive is a new kind of engine sending ships through the plane of Shadow rather than the Drift for similar if more dangerous options, new equipment and more. The product includes 26 custom starship deck plans using the frames and bay options from the guide. There's rules for building colossal and colossal + (station size) orbiting stations with an included sample with deck plans for Tatsushima Station. There's a one-shot module at the end featuring many new ships using the books options
Starships, Stations and Salvage Guide is 180 pages with almost 80 pages of deck plans and illustrations. This book will be supplemented with printable and VT ready maps of all the included deck plans - which will be a lot of bonus content.
I'm doing the last deck plans and illustrations now, following a completed page layout of the product - we're only days away from release.

I want something like Ultimate Campaign. I want to build planets and colonies on other worlds.
While not an Ultimate Campaign guide, following the release of my Kaidan Interstellar Empire of Japanese setting guide, will be a Planets of Kaidan book, which will include planet stat blocks, as well as an explanation on the stat block itself and how to determine it's parameters for creating your own worlds.
As far as establishing colonies, Starships, Stations and Salvage Guide includes huge drop ships that can carry the cargo needed to establish colonies fast. Once the drop ships land, they cannot leave the planet again, however they can be taken apart allowing a colony to reuse the pods power core to power the entire colony. The pods themselves often become a government center, and fortress with weapons to defend the colony against outside attack.

...with Owen KC Stephens as developer. Watch for more information to come later.
Wait.
Paizo, Rogue Genius, Green Ronin, Rite... does every RPG company eventually get their own Owen KC Stephens?
Are these Owens like the Clone Club from Orphan Black?
Individual units of an Owen Borg?
A single Owen in quantum superposition?
Or we're all Flatlanders and Owen is a Spacelander?
Owen is the demi-god of helpfulness, as such, he gets around. :)

I've been away working on stuff for a bit, so this may be answered further down the thread, but we've designed Grimmerspace to specifically fit this need. The core book will be divided into half setting and half adventures. The adventures will be organized by a number of characteristics, but estimated session lengths will be primary among these.
So, for example, the book groups your adventures as:
1 session

1-2 sessions

2+ sessions
