Final count of 8 tentacles and 7 eyes.Wild guess about the top 5:
Number of Tentacles: 11
Number of eyes: 15
I demand a recount! The Voidweaver alone has 8 eyes!
Strife Wasp:
Tentacles: 1? (If the tendril counts, I think it does)
Eyes: Normal for wasps? According to a google search, A wasp has two large compound eyes. Each compound eye is made up of thousands of very tiny eyes and each faces in a different direction. A wasp also has three small eyes on the top of the head, but these see only light and dark.. Let's say 2...Voidweaver:
Tentacles: None (not counting the arachnid limbs)

All those 5 are quite neat. 2 rise above the others in my assessment and 1 is in the end better and gets my vote.

I did not see the 2-Sizes creature among the 5 finalists. If its creator feels like it, please send me a PM so that I can understand how come your critter had 2 Sizes :-)

I'm sure it was a swarm. What was confusing was that in their stats post, first they said there were no swarms, but then they edited it to say that there was, in fact, a swarm.

Thanks so much to everyone who voted and all the other contestants. It was a a crowded field of fantastic monsters, any one of which could have been the winner. You folks did great work.

Is this the part where I admit I wrote my monster in an afternoon, having lost track of time, and it lost to a genuinely better designed monster? Because that totally never happened... ;)

If you want to do plant monsters as a theme I know a publisher that would publish all top five in a special product. And pay the author's of course. -just saying :P
