I'm just some yahoo but none of the previous comic material was sanctioned...
So signs point to no, but you never know what the future may hold.
Would certainly be a shame. The sword-devil especially looks REALLY fun to play, and it seems like a waste if it was reviewed by Owen and Jason only to not be made available officially.
But who knows? The novels have a boon associated with them—maybe the comics will get one that unlocks the archetype(s) too.

Could i get a little background here because I am VERy lost.
Post Hollow Mountain the Pathfinder Comics are doing a crossover event with some of the pulp heroes and villains from Dynamite's catalog. That 6 issue event is Pathfinder Worldscape.
As part of the event they are stating up some of those pulp characters - the first being Red Sonja. Sonja will be a ranger with a new archetype, the Sword Devil, which will trade out the animal companion and casting for unspecified at this time benefits.
The question is if that archetype will be legal for PFS?
A question I have, given lots of these characters are getting written up, is if we are ever going to get a Spire of Nex scenario where you can play them (ala True Dragons of Absalom)?

Trying to use liscensed characters for a game sounds like a legal nightmare.
Although if it was a scenario with Mauve Sofia....
If they follow the trend that the first issue of Worldscape has set then each issue will have some rules elements detailing how the crossover character would be built in Pathfinder. Red Sonja was the focus of the first issue and was built using a ranger archetype built specifically to mimic her fighting style. The appendix at the end of the first issue details the Sword Devil ranger archetype, which specializes in fighting without armor and gives up spells and the animal companion.
So, while using licensed characters like Red Sonja is straight out, content like the Sword Devil archetype could potentially get sanctioned, though if it was it likely wouldn't be until after the entire series gets released as a single book.

After looking over posts in the Worldscape preview blogs, I found a post by Erik Mona saying that there were plans to put the Worldscape content on the PRD eventually, but I didn't see anything about PFS sanctioning. So, I'd say it could happen, but to not get your hopes up.
#1 released a new ranger archetype, the Sword Devil, which i can see as being allowed PFS legal eventually.
#2 released a new creature, the Tharks (Green Martians); being Large, four-armed creatures with +2 Str/+2 Wis/-2 Cha- i don't see them being PFS Legal without being a rare boon.

I playtested some for a d20 era project. They were powerful, but guns were a great equaliser, as were plants big enough to eat your airship.
It would be something to see the Bestiary rules for playing monsters as PCs in a PFS boon. I think it could be done.

I meant Tharks were introduced as a new race, not creature.
What's could be a good thing, is the "character creation" guide in the comic said that any encounter with Tharks, the APL is increased to compensate for the large and powerful Thark.
So you're more powerful AND you get your party killed?

Considering the races' +2 str bonus and four arms*, one full-round attack could potentially kill two enemies.
So, i'd say the APL increase is justified... it's only a +2 for 1-5, and +1 when above lvl 6.imagine a low level Thark jumping into a the high tier game...

Green Martians will likely never be sanctioned for PFS, not just because they are too powerful, but because doing so would involve a formal licensing agreement with ERB. The comic has that, PFS does not (at least not presently!).
That said, I purposely made all of the archetypes in Pathfinder Worldscape property-agnostic (which is one reason the archetype in issue #1 is not called a "she-devil"), so we at least have this possibility open to us, should we chose to take it down the line.
Thanks for your interest in the comic!

Further thoughts:
- a shobhad boon seems marginally more likely than a Green Martian, unless it's specifically a Worldscape tie-in,
- we know (a version of) Earth exists in the same universe as Golarion. I wonder if Worldscape establishes that Barsoom does - noting from Erik's post that we're unlikely to see it mentioned in print.

So basically Large, green, unattractive Kasathas? :)
Given that we have a 4 armed, desert dwelling race alien race already in Golarion, I would hope they would think that if they wanted to introduce that as a race boon it would be easier to use them, and avoid the headaches of adding large PCs to scenarios.
