Assistance with my Croco-gator

Advice

I am presently trying to build a Mooncursed Barbarian and I'm a little stumped as to what I want to do with him. I was considering VMC but no idea where to really start with that. I don't really make too many melee characters that aren't 6th level casters so I'm a bit out of my element.

Intended campaign was going to be Curse of the Crimson Throne if that helps at all.

Trying to get the most out of the 4 Natural Attacks I'll be getting duing rage (Bite, Claw x2 & Tail Slap)

Race: Human, maybe Skinwalker?
Class: Mooncursed (Crocodile) Unchained Barbarian
Str 19
Dex 14
Con 14
Int 10
Wis 12
Cha 10

01 - Power Attack (feat), ??? (feat)
02 - Lesser Beast Totem (rage)
03 - ??? (feat)
04 - Accuracy Stance (rage)
05 - Improved Natural Attack: Claws (Feat)
06 - Beast Totem (rage)
07 - ??? (feat)
08 - Unexpected Strike (rage)
09 - ??? (feat)
10 - Greater Beast Totem

Are any of the Style feats good for a Barbarian? You could always look into that.

Does the shift from Skinwalker work with Mooncursed Shifting Rage? Could snag more natural attacks that way if they do.

You are not going to be able to increase damage per attack all that much due to natural attacks. Improved crit would be perhaps one way. Anything that gets you extra dice such as elemental damage could be awesome if there are feats for that. Weapon Focus is good to have. Besides that, consider ways to buff your saves. Or maybe I am just rambling.

FEATS
Bloody Assault (Deep Wounding trait for DC20 to stop bleed)
Rending Claws
Rending Fury, Improved, Greater
Bleeding Critical
Vital Strike, Improved, Greater
Furious Finish
Improved Unarmed Strike
Improved Grapple, Greater
Critical Focus
Improved Critical: Claws

RAGE POWERS
Bloody Bite (Half-Orc)
Raging Grappler
Brawler
Raging Swimmer (because Crocodile)
Breathtaker (to drown people really quick if fighting in water as Croc)
Body Bludgeon (because its hilarious)

I strongly support raging vitality for a feat. Charge through goes well with pounce as well.

I was going to suggest VMC alchemist, but it doesn't give mutagen until 11th level, and the 3rd level ability is practically useless, and the bombs at 7th level are a little meh.

Sissyl's idea about buffing saves is a good one. You (probably) don't want to get confused or dominated into attacking your allies.

Maybe Master Craftsman and Craft Wondrous Item so you can make half-price Amulets of Mighty Fists?

Extra Rage and/or the Berserker of the Society trait might be worth it.

Dragon Style (eventually) lets you add 1.5 of your Strength modifier to unarmed strikes. Not sure if it also works with natural attacks.

Question about Rending Fury... is there a way to get Rend? Rending Claws saddly doesn't actually grant Rend :(

Unfortunately I'm not sure... I usually assume Rending Claws grants Rend even though it doesn't specifically say that it does... but it works as if it did :/

Usually a GM would agree and allow it, so it's worth asking if it's acceptable or not. Sorry if I got you excited for nothing :(

Revisiting this with an updated build.

Would it be worth it to take a level in Bloodrager? Do the Fastmovements stack? Do the rages?

My take on a Killer Croc type character is a Lizardfolk Barbarian; though Skinwalker (Scaleheart) would also work well. I don't like Mooncursed because of losing the benefits of rage, and that's how you are currently getting your gator-flavor.

I have a thread going on it right now here.

I am going more for the "hungry gator that snaps off limbs and eats them" kind of character. Though the idea of drowning victims is appealing, if I knew water was going to be a regular occurrence.
