How about unchained monk (zen archer/qinggong)//sage sorcerer 10/arcane archer 10?

Full BAB, all good saves, spells, decent skills, Wisdom synergy, archery tricks up the yin-yang!

Wouldn't work because you can't add Zen Archer to an Unchained Monk

Things to think about:

You still provoke when tripping so consider building those feats into you plan.

Really? I had always played it similar to the Trip special ability... seems kinda dumb to have a limited resource trip attempt that also provokes.

Pathfinder 2nd edition

Even though I'm pretty sure it's a no, I might as well get some opinions... SO

Martial Focus:
Benefit(s): Choose one fighter weapon group. While wielding a weapon from this group with which you are proficient, you gain a +1 bonus on damage rolls.

Special: The Martial Focus feat counts as the weapon training class feature with the chosen fighter weapon group for the purpose of weapon mastery feat prerequisites and what weapons you can use with weapon mastery feats.

Advanced Weapon Training:
Benefit(s): Select one advanced weapon training option, applying it to one fighter weapon group you have already selected with the weapon training class feature.

Special: This feat can be taken more than once, but at most once per 5 fighter levels.

Let's say you're Magus. You've hit level 7 and acquired a BaB of 5+ and you now qualify for Martial Focus. At level 8 your Fighter Training now counts you as a 5th level fighter for feats. You now have meet the prerequisite for the Advanced Weapon Training feat... but can you benefit from it since you haven't technically selected a weapon group WITH Weapon Training?

Now the Martial Focus feat requires you to pick a weapon group from Fighter and that same feat allows you count as have the Weapon Training feature... is that enough to apply AWT to the group selected?

melee Warpriest covers access to healing, Magus gives great burst damage and lastly Bard for social needs and the best skilled character in the game.

Let me get this straight... you are cursed and the only way to deal with it is to go against the core tenants of you class... more so one person had to remove theirs by DESTROYING THE DEFINING FEATURE OF THEIR CLASS. Let me guess, if you had a Wizard he'd have to burn his spell book while sacrificing his Familiar? Druid has to start a forest fire? The Half-orc Barbarian must bathe?!
Get out now, and do it rudely.

Kineticist has already been mentioned as to #2 but what exactly is a "shifter"? Someone the turns into other people? Well that is literally every class in the entire game once you by a hat of diguise. Monster? Transmutation Wizard or Druid. Shapechange is also something you can get if your GM lets you play a Doppleganger or that race who's name I forget from Eberron. Your going to have to be a lot more specific than "shifter"...

My favorite Swashbuckler build is Inspired Blade 1/Magus19...

Paladin with the Silver Champion archetype... Drakes are just beyond awful!

My wish for a new Bestiary is no new monsters... I want more in depth information on the existing ones. More so than anything else I want a list of what exactly Knowledge checks give and a better DC system than x+HD cause it's stupid easy to know everything about the rarest of creatures. We're already stupidly swamped with all kinds of random crap, lets get so new looks at old crap!

Anyone who can't perceive you is denied dex, but Diego Ross is also correct about sneak attack, which the OP did mention, so him answering that in advance is a good thing.

While I'm in no way denying that it's relevant, all I'm saying is that the question, while possibly asked for Sneak Attack, does not in fact contain any reference to Sneak Attack and thus does not answer the question asked.

Diego Rossi wrote:
If you are firing scatter ammunition you don't add sneak attack.

That wasn't the question.

I would say it largely depends on how much time the monsters have to adapt. Modern military tactics and weapons would have a huge advantage.

Is this guide still being updated? Would love to see how some of the newer things have done for the class, especially Desna's Shooting Star!

Thread Necro! Was this question ever resolved? I had the same question while building a Nature Oracle recently and can't seem to find any solid answers.

This link covers my entire opinion on the topic

I couldn't agree with this more. If your GM has ever has you combat Cthulhu in any physical way then they have no idea what they are doing.

Or you could just buy an easy to find tacklebox...

Are any of the Style feats good for a Barbarian? You could always look into that.

Does the shift from Skinwalker work with Mooncursed Shifting Rage? Could snag more natural attacks that way if they do.

So... to get this right... you want a Bard... that's not, well... a BARD... That's like saying "I love the flavor of this tomato soup, but could we somehow take these gross tomatoes out?"

More like I like stew, but want to replace the beef with some other meat for a different flavor, but keep all the veggies the same. It's not beef stew anymore, but I prefer that.

I like everything about the bard except the music. I like the other class abilities, how they fit together, what kind of themes you can do with them. I just want to decouple all that from music and bardic performance.

I love the archeologist for just that reason, and like the OP, I would love to see other archetypes that keep all that other stuff, but remove the whole performance aspect to it.

I play a lot of HERO system, and in that game the player comes up with the fluff for their abilities - you buy 6d6 of damage, and you define it as fire, a really strong punch, or electrical blast; so the idea of ripping the fluff and a mechanic out of class but keep all the stuff I like isn't that foreign to me.

You're not restricted to music in any way with the class. You can recite poems, give epic speeches or even dance.

I agree that taking the perform out of Bard is just silly. It's like being a Barbarian without Rage. A Druid without Wild Shape. A Fighter that is useful out of combat...

I wouldn't think so since Bastion of Good replaces Smite Evil.

I don't really think you need a mechanic for this idea. Just "cast reincarnate" and make the character what ever level the GM allows and have his leveling represent his awakening memories/abilities. pretty easy. He was a Wizard20 in life? New/same but weaker ability would just be Wizard1...

Sorry, I obviously wasn't clear. Which of these do you want your eidolon to be built primarily for:

- Natural attacks
- As a mount for your PC
- Weapon attacks (& whether melee or ranged)
- Scouting
- Something else I haven't named.
With the reduced number of evolution points the unchained summoner gets compared to the chained one, you need to pick one thing to be the eidolon's primary focus and largely disregard the others. The builds would be different for each.

My plan was mostly to have a body guard to sit back with me so the melee thugs could go to town without having to worry about me and the archer going undefended. Ranger was going for scout skills so I don't want to step on his toes. Maybe a Psychopomp with a scythe? Little mini death at my beck and call.

More detail needed before anyone could help you there.

What you have provided it very helpful and I will happily provided any further information that could be of use... I just don't know what more to add. Never really asked for assistance with characters before but then again I've never tried to build two characters as one before! Gestalt has a lot of moving parts.

Is there a standard list of good questions to ask for build help?

I have a Gestalt game coming up and I'm a little stuck on some details.

The plan so far is to be a full buffbot while in combat and letting the party and Eidolon take care of business. My biggest issue so far is I don't really know what to take with my Eidolon. I'm leaning toward Psychopomp but I'm still not sure what I'm going to do with him. Mostly looking for some opinions on good spells. Some direction on Eidolons since the original summoner left me a little overwhelmed.
What I've got so far is:

Halfing* Sound Striker Bard 1 / Unchained Summoner 1 LN
HP 10 / 10 Speed 20ft Init 2
AC 17 Fort 2 Ref 4 Will 2
CMB -2 BAB 0
Shortbow +3 (1d4, x3)
Whip +1 (1d2, x2)
Str 8 (-1) Dex 14 (2) Con 14 (2) Wis 10 (0) Int 14 (2) Cha 19 (4)
*Adaptive Luck racial trait

Feats:
Spell Focus (Conjuration) 1
Augmented Summoning 3
Fortunate One 5
Prodigy (Perform: Oratory & Act) 7
Discordant Voice 9
Adaptable Fortune 11

Traits:
Fate's Favored
Maestro of the Society

Rest of the party:
Human Rogue / Warpriest (Melee)
Half-elf Ranger / Slayer w/ Wolf (Ranged)
Dwarf Cleric / Fighter (Melee)

What about Serpent Lash and Greater Serpent Lash?
