It is time! We've seen the announcements of Hell's Vengeance, Strange Aeons, Ironfang Invasion and Ruins of Azlant!

Time to put out the calls for what we want to see in the next two years!

Perennial staples of this thread:
Arcadia!
Galt!
Darkmoon Vale!
Nex/Geb!
A proper Tian Xia!
More mythic! [Iblydos?]
Ustalav!
Absalom!
First World!

Voice your support for one of those or add your own topic of interest! Just remember to try and keep it generalized, no need to plot out your entire dream AP, Adam and James need some work on their end =p

Aren't we getting at least 2 solid books of Ustalav in Strange Aeons?

I guess I'll be the first one to roll this one out...

Land of the Linnorm Kings

Well you've already mentionned a proper Tian Xia and we are getting an underwater (I hope) AP with Ruins of Azlant

I'm going to add the 3rd location I would like to see being explore in an AP:

The Relams of the Mammoth Lords.

There's just not enough on them (although I guess a Campaign setting book could work for me too).

Silver Crusade

My greatest wish continues to be an urban AP in Alkenstar.

Lately I've been having a strange desire to see something in the Land of the Linnorm Kings.

Also, James Jacobs said in some thread once upon a time that there was a story he wanted to tell about Norgorber and the skin clock. I want to see this, particularly if it also involves aspects of Norgorber other than Father Skinsaw.

I would love to see an AP in Alkenstar, but not necessarily an urban setting. I would rather like to see one where you start in Alkenstar, then move to Nex and Geb to explore the reasons why magic has been so messed up in that region and find a way to use that to your advantage.

I think that corner of Golarion is way underused and the dynamic between these 3 countries, with vastly different approaches and ways of thinking should be explored.

Are there any modules set there? That could appease my craving a bit at least...

A return to Varisia (it is time and you know it)
A return to Minkai
Mwangi Expanse

Wardens of the Reborn Forge is set in the Mana Wastes. It disappointed me because it did not have enough Alkenstar, but it was fun enough.

PFS Scenario 2-25: You Only Die Twice is set in Geb.

EDIT: Geb/Nex/Mana Wastes AP is also acceptable to me, provided we get at least one book in Alkenstar. ;-)

Galt, please.

Liberty's Edge

I'm for pretty much anything that goes outside Avistan, with the top five being, roughly in order of preference:

Arcadia
Distant Worlds
Vudra
Tian Xia
"Planescape"

Others that would be nice:
Southern Garund
Iblydos
Mwangi
Qadira

A Galt AP which also incorporates a heavy Daemon presence. Devils and Demons have had a turn...it's about time Daemon's got some love.

^And a Tian-Xia AP could give some love (or something) to the Qlippoths (canonically, a Deep Abyssal rift exists there, although it is largely dormant right now).

I'd rather have Galt then Tian Xia.

Everywhere other then the Inner Sea but would also love to see Hermea.

Vudra. Getting a detailed fantasy setting based on the myths of India would be unique and cool.

Eh, I like the Inner Sea. It's still got a lot going on.

Mammoth Lords
Linnorm Kingdoms
Taldor
Thuvia
Rahadoum
Nex
Geb
Belkzen
Brevoy
Galt
The Darklands
And Nidal

Those either haven't been touched at all, or just barely.

I vote for Galt, too.

My dream AP would be a Shoanti kingdom building AP where the kingdom building rules are adapted to build a tribe. There would be rival members within the tribe vying for tribal dominance and also have orcs as a secondary antagonist.

Similar concept could also be cool in Land of the Linnorm Kings or Realm of the Mammoth Lords - again centered on tribal building.

Let's get the "some assembly required" bits out of the way:

Arcadia.
Southern Garund.
Casmaron.
Vudra.
Tian Xia.

As far as the Inner Sea...

Nex could use a visit.
A properly morally ambiguous war story continues to elude us- With Ironfang going down in Nirmathas/Molthune, this could be a Taldor/Qadira border dustup (neither is evil), Nex/Geb going hot again (neither is good), maybe a misguided attempt by Andoran to pacify Galt... or we could easily use said war story to explore one of the less-developed regions.

Wouldn't mind seeing Nidal in the villain seat for something.

I'd like a dragon-themed AP, if it could be distinguished from "Giantslayer but with dragons." I think it could, of course.

Ok Captain Yesterday I would be interested in a Mammoth Lords and Linnorm kings AP but none of those other places interest me. As for the Dark Lands the only way I would be interested in that if it completely different then the standard so maybe the one under Tian Xia.

I would like an Alkenstar/Mana Wastes AP being separated from a Geb & Nex AP. Maybe later do a Geb + Mana Wastes + Nex AP.

* +1 proper Tian Xia AP.

* PCs as monsters/monsters as PCs AP.

* A less restrictive Evil AP.

* a We Be Goblins like AP.

* a Law vs Chaos / Chaos vs Law AP or 2.

Dragons more Dragons (just not slayer themed.)
Galt
Tian Xia.

Sovereign Court

Nex/Geb/Mana Wastes

or

We Be Goblins FOREVA!!

Tian Xia
hobgoblins
dragons
An ancient troglodyte empire!
Kingmaker in Tian Xia!
An homage to the Slavelords!

I'll throw my lot in with either an ideally roleplay-heavy Absalom (complete with an optional example of the Test of the Startstone) or another mythic campaign.

Sovereign Court

alkenstar
PCs as dragons

I'd love to see a "Deep Sea" adventure. Something along the lost city of Atlantis feel.

My ideas:

* A "political" campaign in Taldor (Game of Thrones style)

* Alternate Golarion: a travel in an alternate dimension

* An AP with asuras as main villains

* MANA WASTES!!!

Ruins of Azlant is the AP coming out after Ironfang Invasion. It's supposed to be 1/3 underwater, and I think Azlant is the closest thing to Atlantis on Golarion.

Another AP that utilizes the Kingdom Building rules and is more sandboxy.

Something set in Tian Xia

A First World AP, perhaps a sequel to Kingmaker.

I'd like to see one that "some how" features a portal or tunnel that connects Tian Xia to the Inner Sea area near Absalom. Sort of an Absalom+Tian Xia hybrid adventure. Could make a "Silk Road"-like feature, where it is a path created for trade between the two.

I'd also, very much, like to see an adventure path that focuses on Law Vs chaos, rather than Good vs evil. Skull and Shackles is already kinda Chaos vs law, so something like that, with a focus on Lawful protagonists.

-Brevoy (GoT style, as it has lots of noble families)

-Varisia (5 Runelords left = Runewar)

As much as i'd like it, Galt is out of question, James Jacobs said, that the creator of it has to do it, but he isn't available or something.

I believe Galt is something that didn't really pick off with anybody at Paizo, perhaps except Erik, who is far too busy answering Marco's never-ending questions about minis to do anything else. ;)

Who is the creator of Galt?

I want full on Darklands invasion. Drow, Duergar, the whole 9 yards.

Also Kyonin. I don't think we've visited Kyonin since SD.

Ibylos

Nex or Geb, or both.

Something very Dwarf heavy. Lots of underground exploration, ruined tunnels, reclaiming abandoned subterranean outposts and the like.

I agree.

but, knowing Paizo, there is no love for Dwarves and never will be. All they care about are those fancy-eared Elves

Do they? I think that's a false dichotomy.

Golarion is humanocentric.

ISLE OF DAMNED

The (anti-?)heroes get trapped/imprisoned/exiled to Valkus Isle and need to plan/struggle/survive the entire AP before escaping to freedom.

Hoping to see the Golarion version of Snake Plissken too.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snake_Plissken

Something about Zon-Kuthon and the dark entity that possessed him. Something dark about loss and grief.

Something about Treerazer and Kyonin.

An adventure fully (or at least fully from book 4 to 6) inside of the Cathedral of the Starstone.
With a secret twist in the end (PCs have to duel because only one can become a God; the Starstone has exhausted its divine power and only remains as an artifact; becoming a God through the Starstone requires subjugating to the unscrutable will of Aboleth masters -with all the implications this brings with the three major Gods who did it-; anything else).

I'm in the Land of the Linnorm King and Mammoth Lords camp, mostly because I love vikings and tribal socieities. That being said, a journey to Arcadia (possibly from the Linnorm Kingdoms) would be awesome, as well as a Around Golarion in 80 Days type setup where the players spend some time crossing all the continents so everyone's outside inner sea itch can be scratched without the devs having to dedicate themselves to one culture too long.

Liberty's Edge

I think the Outside Inner Sea itch is hard to scratch for some. I know the diehard Tian Xia fans won't be satisfied by another AP that just visits the continent for a few books.

That said, Arcadia is definitely due for at least the Jade Regent treatment . . .

Considering that Paizo's default campign setting is not "Golarion" but the Inner Sea, I wouldn't bet on any kind of AP set completely outside that region any time soon. Even Ruins of Azlant will probably start out somewhere in Avistan or Garund.
