Hmm. I hadn't considered Inquisitor. Never played one before. I should read this over more closely. Thank you for the idea. More thoughts are also welcome as well.
I don't know about any 3rd party material, but to channel as an inquisitor you need one level of cleric and the Channeling Scourge feat. However this only works for channeling to deal damage.
The Cold Iron Warden archetype gets channel, but only to damage outsiders (using Alignment Channel).

I don't think there's a way to get the combat style feats AND channel energy. But there are ways to get channel energy and other bonus feats, such as:
Cleric (crusader) - Trades in 1 domain and a spell per level for bonus combat feats
Oracle (Life mystery, warsighted) - You can get Channel Energy as a revelation, and the martial flexibility gets you extra feats

Kind of a trick question, since it's a 'Variant' rule. Your GM has the right disallow Variant Multiclassing, and they have the right to tell you that you can stop pursuing the Multi-classing after 7th level. I see no balance issues with it, so long as you cannot resume taking the VMC option once you've stopped.

Sacred slayer inquisitor with a dip of cleric can channel negative energy at full HD level with scourge channel feat (think I got that right). That will allow you to be an archer, channel, and have skills and features very close to ranger. Are u allowed to be a dhamphir? If yes then this is a perfect match for you with self heals and good stat increases.
If not a dhamphir you have to be a human because you will just be feat starved.
If you roll with this option be sure to take crusader archetype of cleric so you can get weapon focus for free.

Actually, channel scourge doesn't care if you channel positive or negative, you can only channel to harm. You can never self heal with it, even if you are healed by negative energy. When you channel you must specify harm, so you damage living creatures and ignore undead and constructs if you channel negative, or harm undead and ignore living and constructs if you channel positive.

Well, a GM has the right to disallow *anything*, including human or fighter.
The actual, assumed, default rules surrounding VMC are that you make the decision at level 1, and then you're locked in forever.
