Dwarf rogue multiclass with ???

Scarab Sages

As the title...
Race:Dwarf
4 levels of Rogue (Unchained, Trapsmith archetype)
Follows a dwarven deity, preferred use of favored weapon
10 levels of ???
Any Paizo source

Role:
Dealing with the traps and...?

We will be playing Tomb of the Iron Medusa module with 3 players in a few days. One player is planning a dwarven Inquisitor/Bolt Ace. The other is also a dwarf, probably "with an axe."

Looking for suggestions on what to do with the other 10 levels, feats, traits, rogue talents to be "the best" at... something, maybe something that uses the sneak attack?

DM makes reasonable accommodations in house rules (ex:make a trait so quarterstaff is finesse-able or while those two archetypes modify the same thing, the modifications don't conflict so you can use both, etc.)

Thanks!

What do you want to do with your dwarven rogue?

Melee combat? If so, maybe slayer to combine Full BAB, good skills, and some more sneak attack?

Maybe unrogue 4/wizard 3/arcane trickster 7 since you don't have any arcane casters. Or rogue 4/magus 10? I had fun playing a dwarf barbarian 1/magus X with a dwarven waraxe and Power Attack. Very versatile at fighting (rage, spell combat, spellstrike, etc. I would wield the dwarven waraxe two-handed while Power Attacking and raging, or one-handed if using spellcombat. Sometimes I would pre-buff with enlarge person before becoming a rage monster. Sometimes I would close to a group of enemies and unleash burning hands or colorspray.

Maybe unrogue 4/warpriest 10? More healing, but different divine warrior than the inquisitor, so you can both shine.

What do you want to be "the best" at?

I'd originally thought to make with something ranged with high DEX to make with good disabling of traps, but we've already got someone else playing at range. Something mêlée might work best to build off the rogue levels and the other player "with an axe" to hopefully provide flanking.

In the end, I was wondering what might synergize particularly with those rogue levels and possibly fill in any foreseeable gaps in the party.

I'm not really sure why you would make strength a primary stat on an Unchained Rogue. That negates a huge chunk of it's appeal.

Assuming you want to be melee focused, I'd look at Unchained Barbarian, Monk, or Urban Bloodrager. Positioning is going to be important for your sneak attacks, and being a dwarf hurts that. All 3 of these give you fast movement, better offense, and better health. Any of them will enjoy Steel Soul and Glory of Old to boost their saves.

Unchained Barbarian gives the most health, plus the temporary will help offset your light armor. You can go vanilla to increase your trap sense, or Invulnerable Rager to gain better DR. Should work well for two weapon fighting. Ask your DM if you can use Stances as a swift action, which is a reasonable house rule and will make Accurate and Elemental Stance very appealing. Animal Fury could be as well. You could also go the Beast Totem route and use claws and pounce. Or if you use daggers you can also use thrown weapons, which is a decent supplement to melee when you drop an enemy and still have an iterative left, or want to get a sneak attack in during a surprise round.

Urban Bloodrager has a variety of cool things you can get. If you don't mind spending a feat on becoming proficient in an Elven Branched Spear, you can make a pretty cool reach build. Or just use Arcane or Destined, which are always good. Go Primalist if you want to snag some of the rage powers from above. The CHA penalty hurts a little, but you really don't need a lot of charisma.

Monk requires a little more planning. Unchained obviously has it's appeal with Flying Kick and greater accuracy, but then you are almost certainly sticking to unarmed since you can only get to dex to damage on one weapon. Also, Evasion is redundant. A Monk of the Iron Mountain gets Toughness, natural armor, and DR to offset the lower hit die, a better will save, and potential to combine other archetypes in there. Monks will have great stat synergy on a dwarf and will give you the most movement. and with high DEX and WIS you'll eventually have amazing AC. You'll also get the best saves, though any of these has solid options to boost saves so I wouldn't sweat it too much.

Here's a thought. Just... bear with me.

We play up the divine devotion, and go Sacred Fist Warpriest. Before that, you go full Dexterity/Wisdom investment (dwarf makes this easier). At 9th level, you take Crusader's Flurry, which will let you Flurry of Blows with your Axe. You get access to divine spells, get better at buffing, and your Blessing choices can get you some nifty bonuses. Now, I'm assuming you're using a Handaxe to get the dex-to-damage with it, which should work well enough.

Alternatively, if you want to wear armor and ignore flurry, combine it with base Warpriest and pick up the two-weapon fighting feats yourself. This lets you wear armor, and your Handaxe damage goes up with your Warpriest levels. Plus, you get swift-action buffing.

Is the unchained rogue set in stone? If you are just looking for a dwarf character to deal with traps consider a ranger. Both the trapper and urban archetypes give you trap finding. Personally I think a trapper ranger would be better. This way you still get favored terrain (underground).

Thanks folks!
This will certainly help narrow my reading/research list.
