Okay, Nadi is updated so she wears no armor. Instead she'll wear like a heavenly gown or something I guess.

Evan, can I add "Shock" to an Oathbow? How much would it add to the price of Oathbow? I'm fuzzy on how adding magic properties to weapons work. Even tough the PRD is free!!

10,000gp, as you are going from a total of +2 to a +3 total enchantment bonus, but only a +2 to actual buff with the shock property, you don't need to worry about the Oathbows special ability because its cost is already included. (17,000gp) A normal +2 Composite Longbow with +2 Strength rating goes for 8600gp. Though shock isn't that great. Seeking is a better option because as long as you know what square the enemy is in you don't need to roll for Concealment or Total Concealment or waste your ki to get the same effect. You have Flurry of Blows anyway, your damage will be fine. Hitting is more important for you at this stage.

You have no idea how right you are Nadezdha.

Softcover requests:

The primal hunter barbarian archetype from Ranged Tactics Toolbox.
Also, although I won't be using it, the Exceptional Pull feat.
The Startoss Style feat from Weapon Master's Handbook.
The Startoss Comet feat.
The Startoss Shower feat. Also, circumstantial evidence suggests that the 1+1/5lvls attacks are supposed to be additional attacks, since otherwise the feat doesn't do anything different from Startoss Comet until lvl 10, and that'd be strange. Thoughts?
Ricochet Toss from Weapon Master's Handbook.

Finally, the ability for the fighter to take Advanced Weapon Training instead of weapon training with additional weapon groups, from Weapon Master's Handbook.

Sorry to swamp you in requests here, but the new player's companion has loads of good stuff for throwers, so it's kind of hard to avoid it.

upon consulting with a Pathfinder saint aka A guy that knows rules inside and out. Ricochet Toss does work with Startoss, but need to be errata'ed to make it better known. Sorry for the confusion :)

Normally you cannot upgrade named items. But look at the Deliquescent Gloves that add Acid damage to any wielded weapon. Cheaper than the upgrade from +2 to +3 also.

The bow you made has a total of a +8 enchantment bonus... You would need to use the +8 price. The enchantments are culmative for its total. The +3 and +1 for speed and shock respectively are addition enhancement, that aren't represented in the enchantment bonus to hit and damage. Think of it like this, if you want a magic bow, you first have to give it an echantment bonus of at least +1, (This is for hit and damage) if you then wanted speed you would add +3 to your +1 for price only. The bow would then be a +1 bow of speed. At a +4 cost. Want more hit and damage? Bring it up by another enchantment bonuse so it would be a +2 bow of speed, it would be a +5 cost. Add shock? +6 cost, for a +2 shocking bow of speed. Adding more enhancements at a later date? Find the difference where your bow is now and the bonus of where your next enchantment would bring it, and that's what you pay. Hope this clears it up.

Silver Crusade

O, o, o, I get it...you add up the TOTAL ENHANCEMENTS, then look up the price on the table.

So a...

+3 shocking composite longbow = 4 total enhancements
(32,000 gp for the 4 enhancements + 300 mwk + 100gp for bow = 32,400gp)

I'm sorry, I'm super dense and this has never been explained to me.

Ended up going a different class route with Boran, but the hit dice are the same.

I noticed a lack of roguish type in the listed characters, so used some slayer talents to try and fill that hole, but he's otherwise the same idea as I originally posted. Does damage at range or in melee, prefering to use reach.

For background he has spent a lot of time in the Mindspin Mountains working as a guard for tradesmen heading out of Janderhoff, though lately he hired on with a caravan heading further west, possibly a brewer sending a shipment to the Rusty Dragon.

Still finalizing mundane purchases, but all the big ticket items and details are there.

Plus 200 more to make it a +2 strength bow. Since your strength is 14 that would seem to be the thing to do. And if you are looking at spending that much there are special materials that make it harder to break. (I am not sure which are in the Hardback books though). Bows are ridiculously easy to sunder. Have a back up. :)

Hopefully I can post with out the boards eating it this time.

I've decided to take 3 of you. Welcome aboard to Nadezdha, Boran, and Skorn. Please head over to the discussion thread found here when you have a chance and post with your character.
