A combat-trained Tyrannosaurus Rex.
Wait.
No.
Eighty Tyrannosaurus Rexes. I spend the rest of the money on:
Hireling trainers (to help coordinate)
Vials of Silversheen
Scrolls of Animal Growth
Oils of Align Weapon and/or Magic Fang
And I'm not too sure about the last four , to be quite honest. I might just go for 82.3 T-Rexes. Hey, you can never be too careful.

My Self |
A ring of continuous Time Stop.
Price is 2,000 (base) * 9 (spell level) * 17 (caster level) * 4 (duration in rounds) * 1/2 (crafting price) = 612,000 gp
So you have enough time to dig up the continent below your enemies, then stack it up on top of their heads. Spend the other 388,000 gp on immortality or something. You win the action economy, period.
Oh, and remember to take the Master Craftsman feat and purchase an accelerated time Demiplane from a wizard. It'll save you a few years worth of crafting time.

In all seriousness, you'll be spending copious sums of money duplicating what a wizard does naturally.
You need something to prevent the outsiders from teleporting, something to give you a fly speed, something to let you see invisible foes, something to let you bypass barriers or walls (likely teleportation of some sort), something to protect both you and your mount from horrific doom caused by Su and Sp abilities that will be coming your way, and on top of that you need a powerful weapon and staple items to boost your saves/AC/attributes. 1 million gold pieces doesn't go as far as you think when you have that many bases to cover.

Assume the DM isn't terribly smart.

1 000 000 gp should be able to buy you a smarter gm.

Well, see, gold pieces are fictional money.

While it doesn't help with going out and fighting the demons in battle, I do know of a sure fire way of making a defensible position against demons.
Make a grand hall that is half flooded with holy water. The stuff is like acid to them. It is like saying "we have to go out and fight the castle of acid pits, where the acid immune monsters live". Oh- also buy rubber boots, since it does carry the slight risk of pneumonia from being in water all day.
Also, include low ceilings or cold iron barbed wire in the upper part of the room to prevent flying.
Overall- it can take care of the fact that demons can teleport by simply making the place into somewhere that it would be stupid to teleport. It works against invisibility and disguises as well (maybe make people go through a small water fountain to get a The Thing like scene).
These simple materials are insanely effective when you can just throw enough money around. Hard to use them effectively in battle past a certain point, but when you are making the entire environment hostile to them...well, does anyone remember the cold iron thorns in Maleficient?

Hookers and Blow.
Well, you could certainly use that as a bartering tool with powerful mercenaries adn the like.
Since you are getting a bulk deal (since we are talking about 1,000,000 gp worth of hookers and blow), I would imagine you might actually be able to stretch your funds a bit due to discounts.
