Breath Weapon character concept

I am toying around with a character concept that focuses or uses breath weapons/spells strongly.

So far the ways I can think to accomplish getting some type of breath weapons is the following:

Firebreath (Spell lvl 2)
Dragon breath (spell lvl 4)
Sorcerer: Dragon bloodline
Improved Eldritch Heritage feat
Half Dragon Template
Dragon Disciple Prestige Class
Bloodrager (Dragon bloodline)
Breath Weapon Bomb (alchemist)
Qinggong Monk (Breath weapon ki ability).
Chakra: Navel.

Am I missing anything?

So far the basic idea I had in mind is to use the breath weapon anytime I need to move in a round, then use full attack actions in melee. Besides the breath weapon use (Ideally more then once a day), I am open on all other aspects. What do you guys got?

I would personally recommend a Kineticist personally... a purely Fire Kineticist would be an awesome firebreather.

The Exchange

For high lv game only - lunar oracle, turn yourself into a chimera and just voom the day away. Better if you can convince your gm to let the elf fcb be as it was before the pre-errata nerf.

Eldritch Scion Magus (Draconic Bloodline) and Blood Arcanist (Draconic Bloodline) would also get you breath weapons.

I used a dragonwrought kobold in Second Darkness while everyone else played a drow.

We used 3.5 & converted after that game to PF.

He was a rogue/kobold-rogue/kobold-paragon, and one nasty fire breathing piece of work by the end.

I'd never seen any PC with as high an Intimidate score as his. At one point he cowered 3 massive hydras in a row, and he couldn't even see over the top of the table! He could also fly.

I haven't looked at any PF builds or PF kobolds either, but there should be something similiar. He was also in the dragon type, not the humanoid type so that gave him a lot of magic immunities.

There was also a kobold-sorcerer, and dragonwroughts could choose what kind of true dragon they were "wrought" from.

Adding a spellcasting class that could modify breath weapons would be sweet.

Spheres of Power lets you have a destructive blast that's easy enough to flavor as spitting out fireballs, and you could spend points to change its element or shape as you desire. Some of the classes in the book would let you do this AND full attack pretty well.

Of course, it's 3PP stuff... but in fairness, good 3PP stuff. XD

Good catch, Queen Moragan. Kobolds can get a breath weapon through the Draconic Breath feat, and the Draconic Paragon feat improves it.

Scaly kind domains sub domain dragon kind can give a cleric a breath attack at lvl 4

ROTFLOL!

He even ate a Delayed Blast Fireball once - he though it was a gem an enemy mage dropped!

The alchemist discovery Breath Weapon Bomb.

Beat me to it.

I think this is the most amusing version.

Also. depending on what you are doing.. scatter shots are amusing to go with it

Yeah the breath weapon bomb was my first start however the inability to add any Discoveries besides breath weapon bomb hurts it. I was looking at going a polymorph build with that.

The kobold just doesn't get enough damage out of it as a replacement to pound.

I like the scaly kind sub domain and it comes on line a lot sooner then others. Maybe comboed with a bad touch build it would work well.

Even if most of the other bomb discoveries don't help that breath weapon. many of hte extracts can to varying extents.

and alchemist isn't hurting for good choices of breath weapons.
Wings for isntance. That + fly by attack nets you a fly by breath weapon.

the self healing ones effectively fast heal 5 until you run out for the day. Pretty darn nifty.

Detonation can work great if you have resistance and is "breath weapony" plus they get the dragon transformation extracts too last I checked I think.

Outside of that all.
A dragonic sorcerer going into Dragon Disciple is my best breath weapon user in the past. Or I suppose arcanist could pull it off too.
that bloodline with the breath weapon spell means you have a lot of breath blasts and some durablity to gget into position to using it.

These days though I think i'd go with Arcanist using the draconic bloodline and Blade Adept archetype.

Net myself a self building blade, breath weapons and some toys.

basically make the guys from Breath of Fire 1-3

If you make a cleric who worships Aspu the good dragon god you can also pick up the travel domain which is by far one of the best domains in game.

A sorcerer using Words of Power can do quite a bit for a "breath weapon"(/spell), from lines(line target word) to cones(cone target word) to lingering walls(barrier target word)to even explosive spit attacks(burst target word).

If you can swing outside material, either Races of the Dragon or Dragon Magic (both 3.5) had the Dragonfire Adept class, whose central ability was a breath weapon. I recall it being a much less terrible Warlock.

For Kobolds there are the alchemical coals for more breath attacks per day (weak but cheap).

If you can qualify the noxious bite feat is good. And a breath attack is one of the prereqs.

The Gorgon belt nets you a +4 Str and a paralytic breath weapon.
