Hmmm... I would say there is a good possibility that the next donor may trigger another announcement from Jason :)
Actually, I was a little behind; we ALREADY crossed the $42,000 mark due to some off-Kickstarter Paypal support for the project, so Jeffrey Robbins was the backer that pushed us over the line, and we've now closed the book on The Depths of Desperation and are less than $2,000 away from unlocking Tim Hitchcock's Mind Tyrants of the Merciless Moons, which will push us up to 600 pages!
Check out the latest update on our Kickstarter page for the latest, plus a swanky new art preview!

Thanks so much for your support! I have already done some monster design and outlined the adventure. Now I'm off to expand my plans and give you the very best I can. I think the tough choices and tough encounters will please you all. Unless you reeeally love that PC who just died. Sorry about that*.
Please tell your friends, split up the cost of increasing your pledge with your gaming group, or whatever you can to help unlock my good friend Tim Hitchcock's adventure. Everyone knows Tim's adventures are unique and rich in story, and you don't want to miss it!

So much gnashing of teeth and wringing of hands.
Jason, I need to ask, and I get that you might not be able to, or willing to discuss this, but some discussion might not hurt. Or it might. I dunno.
Here's where I'm at; I'm in, and have been since the early days, with the projected desire of the full hardcover. I'm a sucker for massive books like Slumbering Tsar. I'm watching Kicktraq, and I'm watching Kickstarter, and stressing out. My problem is this... I get it that if we don't hit $58k then somehow you'll finish the AP. Problem is I don't want a hardcover with 85% of the content and then a second softcover/PDF/hardcover with the remaining 15%. That totally wrecks the OCD completionist in me.
I'll keep my pledge in until the last minute, but I'd like to explore what the plans are if this doesn't quite make it to "complete". I'm not afraid to spend more money, but I can't justify another six grand. <Grin>
Point is... if this almost hits $58k, is there some discussion of the whatever that completes it being available as a single entity. As in, if we hit 85% on this KS, and you run a second one later for the last 15%, will there be a way for people who pledge for both to get 100% in one single, unified, beautiful, awesome book? That's my sole concern; the physical format. Not so much the price, not so much the timing, not so much how it's funded. Just if there's a plan being brewed that allows it to happen.
Been struggling with how to put that question for weeks now without breaking anyone's confidence.
We will absolutely be completing the adventure path.
If we do not fully fund all parts, it may have a little less bonus material than we had hoped, but the adventures will all get done. Period.
And they will be LEGENDARY!

I'm keeping my pledge for now, but at this stage, my ability to fulfil it hinges on my tax return getting in before the campaign ends... if it doesn't, is there any chance of doing a post-campaign (by a couple of days) pledge via Paypal? I'd hate myself for missing out on this, but a few unexpected expenses have left me chewing my nails anxiously.

No problem. We've already gotten some support for this campaign using that route, and if that's the way you need to go to make it happen, just hit us up at our makeyourgamelegendary at gmail email addy and we'll make it so.

Almost up to $43,000 including Paypal pledges, we send a shout-out to our Universal Icon backers and profile the four new playable races coming in our Legendary Planet Player's Guide, which is on track to be finished in time for the end of the Kickstarter!
Plus, a sweet art preview for Mike Shel's adventure, The Scavenged Codex!

Really like the look of all four races. :D And I was already thinking about a tretharri monk before I even knew what the tretharri were...!
We were pretty happy with how the art came out on all four races, and its been fun seeing the interpretations of the characters by artists doing action scenes featuring the iconics as well.

Ooh, an evil god with the Healing domain. Fun!
And I'm backer 326.
How do you find out which number backer you are?

Mr. Nelson,
Will you be delivering PDFs to backers through DriveThru/RPGNow or through the Legendary Games website?
Edit: Just $808 to go to unlock another 10-pg bestiary.
We will probably set it up as a dropbox download, as we did for our Mythic Mania PDFs. Once we get the final export list of email addresses when the Kickstarter closes, we'll email out the 5E link to the 5E backers and the Pathfinder link for Pathfinder backers (or both, if you back both).
And we have less than $500 to go to the next goal counting our off-KS Paypal pledges!

When will that be determined, for those who picked something like Interplanetary Hero, where you can get a hardback of either PF or 5E? I'd prefer Pathfinder, obviously, but that wasn't asked during the pledging process.

That sort of thing is pretty much always addressed as a part of the backer survey after the KS ends.

Most of the pledge levels already stipulate whether you're going PF or 5E. Just a few of them give you the choice of one or the other.

...aaaaand $55,626. Not quite enough to complete no. 7. Will you be taking the usual post-KS PayPal buy-ins?
