Twist Away feat question.

Rules Questions

Okay, if I'm understanding this correctly, I can apply my reflex save instead of my fortitude save for ANY effects that require a fortitude save..... So if I'm poisoned, does this mean I can backflip to try and prevent the poison from damaging me further?

Yep, that's what you do. Backflips.

Arguably, this maybe should only apply to attacks that cause a fortitude save (it does mention attacks once in the description). Then it would make sense: the poisonous giant spider bits you and hits, but your quick reflexes enable you to twist away before any dangerous amount of venom is injected into your by the bite.

Where it really makes no sense is, if you get poisoned and fail the save, you take the effect and next round you can try to backflip the poison out of your veins, and you keep backflipping until one of those backflips, uh, I don't know, causes the poison to fly back out of your wound from sheer centripetal force...

But, sensical or not, it seems to let you apply your REF instead of FORT on every save.

Would be nice to have a Will save equivalent.

Dominate Person? How about BACKFLIP instead!?

Oops! You missed my brain. Sucker!

Edit: or are these those mental gymnastics I've always been hearing about to understand the finer points of the tax code?
