Just to be clear all of the prior results are going to be cleared and open registration will begin at 3:30 pm not including the lottery slots (i.e., I noted earlier that 83 people had apparently signed up for the Sunday special although it was showing as closed).
Well now they're not open, so I can't go back and look, but the two I saw before coming back to the boards to figure out what was going on were Expedition to Playtest Mountain, and Welcome to PaizoCon. I'm guessing I would have found more if I kept scrolling.
I never saw my schedule so I have no idea what events I was and wasn't in.
Looking at the list when it was open I did see some events that I ranked as full and others as having space.

I was able to sign up for a couple lottery event before it went south that I had flagged in the lottery as well. I am assuming we are going to reset basically and we still may see so,e lottery results. I had zero show up but then found them to have open seats.

Same here.

So when will we be able to try and add Lottery Events that were not full?
JD
I did see my schedule, briefly. Then I hit Reload, and it disappeared. Is the schedule I see at 3:30pm likely to be different than the schedule I saw at 2:30pm?
Three events I saw and noticed that I ranked (the obvious one with a 4) were:
Fri - Anagnorisis & Assimilation Strain (both had at least 2 spots open)
and
Sun - Goblins Take the Shackles (with Lisa) (had 1 spot open)
That was before the "wipe" of course.
I realize the fine Paizo folks are doing their best but, I'm at work and took a lunch to try and schedule now with things pushed back an hour I kind of get screwed. Going to have to talk to the boss about a second lunch and see if he will accommodate.
Very confusing. No idea if (a) I can't see my schedule or (b) I didn't get any of my lottery choices.
Would be nice to have knowledge of the status of lottery requests.
At the same time, don't envy the Paizo folks...nothing like having glitches when people are waiting. :(

This would support the feature of showing the won-lottery events/current schedule for a couple of days prior to opening up the open events. Deal with one set of potential issues at a time. :)
@Mine All Mine...Don't Touch and Qwenlyn - Agreed, last minute technical glitches are nobody's idea of a pleasant day. Here's hoping it's fixed soon, for everyone's peace of mind.

One of the great things about working for Target my boss knows how important this trip is so he told me to go home and make up the hours later in the week! Less stressed now!

I'm in the same boat. As far as I could tell I didn't get any of my lottery choices, despite seeing two open tickets for one of the Card Guild Tournament slots.
So it did hold rankings for the specials after I had deselected them as lottery events. Not ideal. 83 people made it into one and 23 into the other. I've discussed it with Jeff and Chris and we feel the best option is to leave those selections as is. There are 210 seats in each special.
First World Bard wrote: I'm in the same boat. As far as I could tell I didn't get any of my lottery choices, despite seeing two open tickets for one of the Card Guild Tournament slots. Yeah. Events that had only one seat open I could understand since there are two of us, but some had 3 or more seats still open. I just hope it's an easy resolve, since Paizo has already had enough headache with this!
Everyone seems to be saying they didn't see any of their lottery choices, my guess is when things reopen the lottery result will actually post and what we saw earlier is part of the glitch. At least I hope so, as I didn't get anything either.

Here's hopin'! Trying to schedule two people here as well ... two computers open to try and get us into the same events ...
I certainly know what it feels like coding under pressure and with tight time constraints ... ya'all need a drink after this, regardless of end result! Next time, maybe a drink before!

My husband is in the same boat (minus the going home early). He had a meeting from 1:30-2:30 that he pushed back to get on here. We don't share passwords, otherwise I'd sign up for him.
I'm really not envious of how stressed the Paizo staff probably is right now. Take a deep breath guys! We are just confused and/or anxious, but we'll get over it. :)
Considering the issues years past, I do think it'd be better to have the lottery results available, then have event trading and open registration a day later. Like RyanH set, one set of problems at a time.
RyanH wrote: Here's hopin'! Trying to schedule two people here as well ... two computers open to try and get us into the same events ... You and me both! I've got two different browsers open so I can get my son and myself into games together, just like you. I just hope it really happens at 3:30, before my 4:00 meeting...

Or gets put off until a time when we can actually plan for it.

Now it's 8 pm eastern time left work early for nothing .

Oy, I'm hosed...I feared this might happen.

Wow, maybe next year they should do this by hand.

Just to be clear. If I step away from work at 5:00 to do this is it going to be ready?
I'm in no hurry and can appreciate the stress of dealing with tech glitches. Would it be possible to provide an updated time so we can all go work/eat/play in the meantime? ;D
Count Countula wrote: Just to be clear. If I step away from work at 5:00 to do this is it going to be ready? I don't think anyone can answer that with certainty right now. It's already been postponed twice, so I wouldn't count on the third estimated time being set in stone.

Current status: imagine fighting a cerberus with each head having medusa snake hair.
Time is updated to 5pm US/Pacific
Could we get a quick answer to the lottery questions? Was what we saw at 230 accurate in any way?

None of that data has changed as of this time and I currently do not forsee it changing.
So why were some of us seeing seats in events we gave priority to?
Sara Marie wrote: Current status: imagine fighting a cerberus with each head having medusa snake hair. When can we see the Bestiary entry for this Meducerus? Sounds like a cool monster (though not one to have to face while a bunch of rabid Paizo Con fans beat down your door).
Sara Marie wrote: None of that data has changed as of this time and I currently do not forsee it changing. Thanks, Sara Marie!
I was so excited to get in to my top pick for the whole con... and I called my husband to let him know the good news.
I'm sure there's a way to fix it so those people who didn't get slotted into still open events can be slotted in, without other people being unscheduled from events they got into.
Thanks for letting us know.

Impossible to say, as you may have viewed it after the schedules were no longer displaying.
Sara Marie wrote: Current status: imagine fighting a cerberus with each head having medusa snake hair. And all the heads and snakes regrow like a hydra? Meducerydra!
(I'll bet it has a couple of Mythic tiers, too.)
The lottery results went live for people to see, there were/are some issues involving the open registration process so we had to push it back. Since we don't have a way to separate the two, we can't show what the lottery results were.
Found issue. Looking at resolution options.

Can you postpone it to Friday during some normal work hours? I'd hate to have this keep getting pushed back farther and farther and all the East Coast folks are not going to be happy.
