Help me build a Captain Build.

Advice

Ok so after reading this
I wanted to add that into my gestalt game. And I was thinking Paladin on the other side. This because well the Captain can put the hurt on evil, but when fighting non-evil foes he tends to hold back.

Anyone got any advice for me? I have never run a paladin before and I don't know if they are very feat dependent, as you see that build has a full lot of feats.

I cannot answer anything about feat selections for a paladin as I have never played one, but I think it will depend on how close you want to get to Captain as a character. I think a lot of what the paladin does, such as lay on hands or detect evil, doesn't fit with my image of Captain, but that's just my opinion. I am not sure how well it would synergize with the brawler but I think gunslinger may have some merit, especially when focusing on pistols. Sorry I cannot be super helpful with your exact question but thought I would add my 2cp.

Well Captain always seems to know just where the bad guys are, Detect Evil fits that theme wonderfully. Lay on Hands is a refluff, Captain always seems to get his men back on their feet to continue the fight, granted this is normally through a swift pat on the back and a few encouraging words. But it could be refluffed as a way to get them on their feet. It also works for his healing factor ability (Swift action to self heal)

Heck depending on the setting changes someone could refluff the mount as his motorcycle lol.

Cha to all saves is also one of those wonderfully captain things as he is just hard to control or put down and he is so damn likable and so in charge.
