Bear shaman druid feats and tips

Advice

Hey guys, first post here so hi everyone !

Me and some of my friends recently put together a Pathfinder group; that's a new rpg format for me and for the first campaign i decided, after some changes, to choose a human, bear shaman druid.

We are at 4th level now, and since my role in the party changed a bit with some variations of other PCs, what i need now is to be on the frontline and do a lot of damage. Being a bear shaman, i will be able in two levels to morph into a huge bear, so my attacks and reach will get a nice buff. I also choose the FEROCITY subdomain for casting, as it grants some nice buffing spells. In exchange, I don't have an animal companion.

So i'm asking you guys advice about which feats would you choose from 7th level and up (at 5th i will get natural spell) keeping in mind that i will be focusing in damage output. I already have TOUGHNESS, ESCHEW MATERIALS, and DODGE.

Stats:
str 16
dex 15
con 12
int 10
wis 15
car 10

Even if you have some tips on playing bear druid or druid in general, they will be of great help since it's my first time playing one. Thanks in advance !

The first feat most melee types want is Power Attack. You're missing that, if you can talk your GM into letting you swap out Eschew Materials or Dodge you won't regret it. Otherwise, yeah get it at 7th.

Quicken Spell is probably your 9th or 11th level feat - you'll want to have some spells available without having to spend a standard action, like barkskin, enlarge person or maybe sometimes obscuring mist.

Beyond that, what books do you have available? Anything on d20pfsrd.com or are there some limits?

Ah, i forgot to mention we use Core and APG. Thanks for the answer !

Bear bump.

OK. Whichever level you don't take Quicken Spell at (9 or 11), get the Lunge feat. More reach is always good for a melee type.

After that you might choose to get Craft Wondrous Item to reduce the cost of your magic bling. Or, you might choose to get into summoning - it's late to do so but Spell Focus (conjuration) leading into Augment Summoning makes your squad of dire bears a more effective speed bump. Extend Spell can be handy. Any of these will be more effective than the combat feats available to you at high levels in the sources you've named.

The Exchange

damage in pathfinder is usually about going fist i would get improved initiative instead of eschew marterials. make sure you enter

combat with your hour long and 10m/L buffs rolling. also as a bear

shaman you can summon an army as a standard action.

take some summoning feats like augment summon +4 STR and CON to you summoned bears.

What about combat reflexes, improved natural attack and rending claws?
The first one expecially could be handy with the reach of a huge creature.

Combat Reflexes - maybe. You need multiple enemies provoking AoOs within your threatened area in the same round, which doesn't happen all the time.
INA - no. It doesn't add enough damage to be worth a feat without shenanigans.
Rending Claws - NO. Like INA but worse.

Edit - also, remember the reach of a huge bear is still only 10'. You're not going to control vast areas of the battlefield, and many enemies by the levels discussed will have even more reach.
