Familiar feats

So now that familiars can get feats from witches or wizards, would Toughness do anything for a familiar?

No unfortunately. Their HP is still dependent on the PC's total. If however the character gets a boost from Toughness their familiar gets half.

wait what? How did familiars get feats? Genuinly asking here because I always assumed they didn't.

Beast-bonded witch has been able to for a while now. and the Spirit Binder wizard from the Familiar Folio can as well now.

Thank you. The spirit binder is kind of awesome. First wizard archetype where I really wanted to play it.
