A new version of the Unofficial Pathfinder Online Atlas is now available, just in time for EE.
New in Version 1.0 - Side Tabs: Restructured site to have expandable side tabs rather than selectable horizontal tabs. Click on icon to open tab; click on highlighted icon (in blue) to close the tab.
- User Markers: Click on Marker Icon (below the +/- Icon), then click on map to add your own markers to the map with the marker coordinates as a popup. Click on the Trash Icon, then click on a marker to delete the marker. Note: These markers will be deleted when browser session closes. They will be savable/reloadable in a future release.
- Settlements Tab: In the Settlement Tab, click on the settlement name to zoom to the settlement in-map. Buildings will appear at that zoom level. Mouse-over for building name (if there is one) and click for building detail (if there is detail). Note: Thornkeep and PC settlements (and their buildings) will come later.
- The Terrain Hex Data Layer has been temporarily removed for a re-build.
- Added Geographic Region data layer. Mouse-over for Geographic Region name. Resource data will be available in a later release by clicking in region.
- The Settlement Data Layer is now hexes rather than points. Mouse-over for name, click for detailed information.
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwesome!!!!!
Very cool.
The Region names, are they official, or community names? If they are very much locked in place, I might start using them when describing relative locations.

They're official.
These are the Regions Lee was talking about when he said the Resources were allocated by Region. In general, you should find the same kind of stuff through a Region - as long as it's the same terrain type and hex type.

To clarify on the 'in general' the same raw materials:
The Southern Echowood is dominated by Maple and Yew as well as Tansy Leaves. I assume these three raw materials will be everywhere. Same goes for Anagogic and Esoteric Essence.
Iron can be found a lot in mittens but to find coal you have to cross over to Travellers Wood. But I'm not sure if this applies to the whole region.
For example Brimstone is more common as iron ore close to Emerald Lodge but is absent in the Eastern parts of the Southern Echowood.
You will not get the same everywhere. As a starter - expect differences for badlands and monster hexes. In addition expect differences for raw materials.
You get a little bit of Green north of Hammerfall but it seems to be absent as soon as you find Brimstone. This still needs verification as you had to harvest around 10-15 plant nodes with a tier 7 to find a single Green and 3-10 times as much to rule it out - something I didn't do in too many yet.
But this is immensly valuable. I did notice the clear boundary in resources between Southern Echowood (Wood 1 in my spreadsheet) and the Travellers Wood.
Amazing!
Also, could we get back the tab for Coords? We used that a good bit.
Canis Castrum is in the Highwater region. I wish I knew this when the League was coming up with power bloc names. Pretty cool to see the geographic borders of each region though! :)
Thank you Harad, this is awesome.

Thanks. I will see if I can get that done today.
Very nice; very useful. I have it bookmarked now.
Cheatle, background with hex coordinates restored. Hex outline are not as strong, but numbers are correct.
Harad, I just noticed that the Player Settlement maps are no longer available. I see that you've already gotten some of the NPC Settlements embedded directly into the main map, and I assume you're planning to do that with the Player Settlements, too.

Yes, I will be adding player settlements this week.
Kreuz Bernstein is misspelled "Bernstine".
What method is used for logging the shrines? I would suggest a possibility of using a subhex grid like depicted in this image taken from wikipedia.

I spent a little time today looking up info and basically it would have to be an overlay of another set of tiny hexes to make that happen and it would make it VERY hard to read most likely. But I'm a total layman when it comes to coding so I don't know if something could be done to only show that other array at a certain zoom level?

@Jakaal, I have been doing them by hand. When I get the functionality in place for people to save their pins I will ask people to send me the shrine portion of that save file for me to input. A am unsure of the reality of allowing people to update these without review.
PMed you a few locations I logged. IDK if that is useful in the slightest but trying to help.
Stoneroot Glade (at -17, -03) isn't highlighted as a PC settlement
Phoenix Pass (at -08, -04) doesn't exist anymore and should have the NPC highlight removed.

Corrections made. Good catch, I appreciate the help.
Additional shrines at;
3.75N 1.86E
3.30N 0.06W
3.23N 0.71E
2.72N 0.07W
@Harad,
Thanks for the amazing work, crafters, gathers and refiners everyone are blessed to know where each geographic region is. :)
Having said that, is there a way to make a greyscale 8x11 page map of the settlement hexes checkbox with the geographic region checkbox that I can print out and use as reference?
Just in case anyone else wants a copy of my self imposed stupid project I've posted the Hexographer program itself, my map file, and a PNG print out of what I made.

Version 1.0b of the Unofficial PFO Atlas is now live. The buildings for PC Crafting settlements has been added. Also, some spelling corrections have been made. It seems that Phoenix Pass did not make it into EE so it has been removed from the map.

Perfect! I was doodling with something to make sense of my tradenotes and this forms a excellent basis for that!
