Does the size of the fire gathered with Fire Supremacy impact damage / duration?

Rules Questions

I've been working on developing a character for my gaming group and she is a Wizard specializing in the fire school. One of her abilities, Fire Supremacy states:

"In addition, whenever you are within 5 feet of a source of flame at least as large as a campfire, you can draw the fire around you for 1 round as a swift action. Anyone striking you with a melee weapon or unarmed strike takes an amount of fire damage equal to 1/2 your wizard level (minimum 1). Weapons with reach avoid this damage.

All it states is the minimum size of the fire gathered. What if the wizard gathered a much larger flame than a campfire? What if they gathered the fire from say a burning building? Would this make it last longer than 1 round or maybe allow for more melee attacks to hit before being depleted? Is any of this stated somewhere or should it be left to the DM and group to decide how this behaves?

Thoughts?

Abilities tend to do only what they say they do. As written fire supremacy will only ever do 1/2 level in damage even if you you are on the elemental plane of fire.

Anything else would be in houserule territory.

Personally I would consider something like it doing half the damage the gathered fire would normally do but the Wizard takes that damage less an amount equal to half their level.
