Would you date Queen Abrogail the Second or Queen Ileosa Arabasti? (A third option: Queens Queen Elvanna)

If I had to pick I'd pick Abrogail since she's the only one who isn't a crazy.

Climb to the top of the highest mountain or dive into the deepest ocean to uncover a lost artifact.

Ocean, at least there's a reward there.

The ability to glimpse a minute into the future, or look into the past (within 10 years ago).

1 person marked this as a favorite.

One minute into the future, so I can see what it will be like when my pop tarts are done.

You're a Fighter: would you rather fight 1,000 rust monsters, or Cthulhu?

1 person marked this as a favorite.

1,000 rust monsters. I have my bow, arrows, and Stealth.

Have someone looking over your shoulder and constantly screeching about how every choice you make is powergaming and badwrongfun or be stuck in the same room with an adorable dog that's been eating beans for a week?

1 person marked this as a favorite.
Pathfinder Adventure Path, Lost Omens, Rulebook Subscriber; Starfinder Charter Superscriber

The dog, as I have a bad sense of smell and it is adorable.

Play as a anti-caster (wizard or witch).

Quote:
Blindly sign an Asmodean contract, or have Calistria pissed at you?

With the contract, at least I know it's something I actually did.

Quote:
wizard or witch

Wizard: I just like they're style better, and that way I won't get burned!

Would you rather have access to epic spells (from 3.5) or mythic power (from PF) in "real" life?

Mythic power, but mostly because I understand it better.

Would you rather live in Nex or Geb?

Cool. Also, Neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeex.

Erastil or Torag?

Torag. Although my dwarves tend to wear kilts and play flaming bagpipes.

Would you (real world you) rather spend 24 hours locked in a room with a Tooth Fairy or an unkillable Kobold plotting to kill you in the most gruesome way it can imagine.

Tooth Fairy.

Would you rather catch a Dire Tiger by it' toe or play leapfrog with a unicorn?

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Leapfrog with the unicorn, since they're good creatures and I'd bet it would mind the horn. Also no tiger grab.

Would you rather sign an assassination contract with the Aspis Consortium or the Red Mantis?

Silver Crusade

1 person marked this as a favorite.

The Red Mantis, because divine assassins from a dinosaur inhabited island are way cooler than greedy merchants.

Would you rather drink the alcoholic beverages served by an atheist Rahadoumi or a diabolical Chelaxian?

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Chelixian. They seem more sophisticated, and their outfits are hotter.

Would you rather... have your own demiplane atuned only to you (no-one else can enter), or have a portal somewhere anyone can pass?

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Have my own demi-plane...it is nice just get away from everyone...and also great storage.

Would you rather be the 'guest of honor' at a Lamashtu ritual or a Zon-Kuthon ritual?

That's easily Lamashtu. ZK is into torture and pain and...yeah, no thanks. Lamashtu is evil, yeah, but pain isn't part of the portfolio, so it isn't a guarantee like it is with Zonny Boy. Plus, she's a pregnancy deity, so some good fun might be on the table. If I close my eyes real tight I might not know how horrible my future child will be.

Have Morgan Freeman narrate your adventures, or James Earl Jones, or Patrick Stewart?

(Yeah, I put a three choicer, nobody said that was against the rules!)

Just hope she doesn't decide you'll be having the kids.

That'd be... Very lethal.

(Ingnore me! I am not participating!)

Morgan Freeman.

Who would you rather have for a cohort: a goblin bard who never stops "singing," or a particularly uptight human paladin?

Paladin. They are fun.

Would you rather travel all across the Worldwound alone, or the same for Cheliax with the direct interest of the secret police there?

Silver Crusade

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Starfinder Adventure Path Subscriber

Cheliax because at least the landscape isn't trying to actively kill me.

Would you rather be a trader in the River Kingdoms or the head of a Brevic noble house?

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Trader in the River Kingdoms.

Would you rather have "Tubthumping" stuck in your head for all eternity, OR play through a full adventure path in one sitting (no matter how long it takes!) where the GM and ALL the other players are college frat boys?

2 people marked this as a favorite.

Tubthrumping...College frat boys make my trigger finger itch.

Would you rather end the revolution in Galt or bring religous tolerence to Rahadoum?

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Galt. The unwashed mobs there need to be put in their place.

Would you rather, as a refugee, emigrate to Hermea or Belkzen?

Hermea! By far!

If a Neverwinter Nights-style computer game were created for Pathfinder, which Adventure Path would you want it to adapt, or would you rather it be a radically different kind of game (other than Pathfinder Online)?

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I would want Skull & Shackles.

Would you rather fight the hoards of orcs from Belkzen or fight Tar-Baphon?

Orcs. As an 13th level wizard. I'd win.

Would you rather live out a lifetime as the character in the Neverinter Nights OC, the Shadows of Undrentide/Hordes of the Underdark expansion, the Neverwinter Nights 2 OC/Mask of the Betrayer expansion, the Storm of Zehir expansion, or one of the Pathfinder APs (presuming basically Pathfinder rules, with access to epic levels for the appropriate game)? (And if it's the last, which one?)

Silver Crusade

Kingmaker, because I just can't wait to be king.

Would you rather ride a Deep Crow or the Sandpoint devil?

Sandpoint devil. THAT is a statement.

Which cellar would you prefer to exterminate pests, Ven Vinder's in Sandpoint, or Fort Rannick's?

Fort Rannick's.
Would you rather consistently game at a shop where the only pathfinder setting allowed is one communal world constantly changed by the actions of all the games going on in the shop, (resulting in "DM: You return to the capitol to collect your reward only to find it engulfed in flames with a wizard in black robes riding an ancient red dragon laughing maniacally. Rogue: Hey it's my character in Paul's campaign!") or consistently game at an inconsistent location.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Communal world. Recurring characters are the norm for our table.

Would you rather the paladin deal with orphaned baby goblins or a troupe of dancers dominated by an evil succubi.

Orphaned Goblins.

You are a paladin, an evil cult has performed a ritual to summon a demon lord using an infant as the focal point. If you kill the infant it will stop the lord from coming, but if you let it live the infant is the only one who can kill him and he cannot receive divine or arcane powers from any source other than the demon until the demon is defeated, and he would be more susceptible to falling into evil's ways. Would you rather kill the child or try to raise it to fight the only entity that can give him power?

2 people marked this as a favorite.

Let the infant live. I don't think Paladins can really embrace a "the ends justify the means" philosophy.

Okay...stemming off of that: You're the infant from that scenario, all grown up. Do you side with the Demon, get true arcane power, the super hot succubus girlfriend, and try to rule the world -- or do you join your adopted Paladin mother/father, forsake magical power, and try to kill that Demon KNOWING you'll die in the final battle (you've had premonitions)?

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I'd fight the demon.

Would you rather be living in an underground city when a portal to the plane of water opens and floods your city, or living in a town in the desert when a portal to the plane of fire opens and creates a lake of lava covering most of your town?

Silver Crusade

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Starfinder Adventure Path Subscriber

Underground city, I hate the heat.

Would you rather go left, where you hear the sounds of goblins singing, or go right where you can hear the rhythmic clang of a hammer on an anvil?

Right!

Play a game where the party are all merchants and craftsmen where experience is based on the satisfaction of the adventurers coming through town, or where the party are hired to guard a location, and they just have to take the enemies as they come?

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Merchants and craftsmen, since CAPITALISM!

Would you rather adventure with an cleric of Asmodeus or Calistria?

Silver Crusade

1 person marked this as a favorite.
Pathfinder Adventure Path, Starfinder Adventure Path Subscriber

Calistria because they could get me discounts at their temple.

Would you rather fly to Triaxus in a magically repaired Numerian spaceship or travel to the center of Golarion in a giant hollow mole-shaped iron golem?

Triaxus! I'm less likely to accidentally hit Rovagug.

Would you rather receive money for making gaming products or receive free gaming products?

Silver Crusade

1 person marked this as a favorite.
Pathfinder Adventure Path, Starfinder Adventure Path Subscriber

My ego demands the former and later this year you, YES YOU will be able to sup on the fruit of my creativity.

Would you rather have a robot animal companion, or an alien animal companion?

Alien. It costs gold and resources to repair a damaged robot.

Would you rather play the most goofy min maxed character that specializes in only one area, or play a character with average stats across the board who specializes in everything but just not as well as other builds.

Shadow Lodge

Generalist with average stats. But I'm crazy like that.

Would you rather be the bus boy at the Paizo staff's favorite restaurant full time (but you never get to talk to them) or the cleaning staff at the hotel the Paizo staff stays at for GenCon and you get one chance to hang out?

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Bus Boy, more likely to overhear interesting tidbits.

Would you rather be part of a group that always inadvertently causes the destruction of the multiverse, or always has one player who does so intentionally?

The one player - as a GM, I can handle him.

Would you rather play a game where you started out a hero and became a villain by the end, or started out a villain and became a hero?

Villain to hero, but I'd prefer being an anti-hero.

Would you rather party and drink mead with Torag, or party abd drink ale with Cayden Cailean?

RPG Superstar Season 9 Top 16

Cayden, he's probably got more interesting stories to tell than Torag. Plus, he might do something ridiculous like ascend to over-deity.

Would you rather have a swim speed, or a climb speed?

Swim. By far.

Would you rather be lost in Kaer Maga or Westcrown?

Kaer Maga. Think of all the interesting people you'd meet.

Would you rather piss off Asmodeus or Calistria?

Calistria, she'll only go after ME!

Would you rather have to appease (not kill) a ghostly dragon, or pay for the ransom of the King?

Silver Crusade

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Starfinder Adventure Path Subscriber

Appease the ghost dragon, I'm too poor for the other thing.

Would you rather have a raven familiar that sarcastically mimics you at inappropriate times or a clumsy eidolon who keeps accidentally breaking your stuff?

Raven Familiar I just really like Raven and would put up with some annoyances.

Would you rather deal with the mother issues Changelings have or deal with the possible family issue tieflings have?

Changeling. Covens are fun, plus heterochromia is awesome.

In real life, would you rather own a ring of sustenance, or a hat of disguise?
