Lay on Hands

So is anyone aware of a way to increase a paladin's lay on hands ability to heal more than using d6? Is there a feat that will give him a dice higher? Originally was thinking empower spell-like ability but LOH is supernatural so that's out.

Thanks

The bracers of the merciful knight item.

Fey Foundling is hands down the best Feat for a paladin wanting more out of his LoH.

Greater Mercy + Bracers of the Merciful Knight = +3d6 healing.

Other items of note:
Merciful Baldric
Crystal of Healing Hands
Fey Foundling

If you are going with a Lay on Hands build I might also suggest going with an Oath of Vengeance archetype. You may also want to check out Fast Healer and Ultimate Mercy.

Favored class bonus of elves and tieflings also help quite a bit:

Elf:
Paladin: Add +1/2 hit point to the paladin's lay on hands ability (whether using it to heal or harm).

Tiefling:
Paladin Add +1 to the amount of damage the paladin heals with lay on hands, but only when the paladin uses that ability on herself.

You can't get a dice increase, but there's a bunch of flat increases around.

Inheritor's Light (longsword, 6kgp) gives +1 healing per die on LoH & cure spells you cast.
Fey Foundling (level 1 only feat) gives +2 healing per die to all healing on you.
Tiefling Paladin Favored Class Bonus gives +1 healing to LoH each level.
Greater Mercy feat gives +1d6 healing with your LoH when you don't use any of your mercies.

You could reasonably have all of that by level 6 or so, healing 4d6+18 damage with each LoH on yourself.

That's very good healing.

Halflings also get the favored class bonus and IMO make great Paladins. Size bonus to AC, racial bonus to saves and size bonus to hit are all nice things.

This fellow knows what's up. ^_^

Heh. I have one I want to play but it is better for non-PFS. I have a friend running a game and I was going to play it in that until he told me his home brew world had no Halflings. You can imagine my shock!

Where you going? Get back in here and post your build so we can tell you how much it sucks and correct everything that is wrong with it!

LOL. Its not for me. I have a player joining my group next week. I suggested a paladin since he wanted to play a "fighter" type but also the group has no real cleric.

When he gives me his build, I'll post it so you can all tear it apart. :)

Fey foundling sounds like an interesting trait I am thinking of for either a paladin or a warpriest of Habbakuk from the DL saga.

Sadly it's a feat. Still quite amazing though.

I cannot seem to find the Inheritor's Light item. What is the source?
