Animal growth on the bloodrager spelllist?

Advice

Can any body find a good Way to get the animal growth on the bloodrager spell list.
The plan is to take the bloodrider archtype and the animal soul feat. To get a large mad man on a huge calmel. I welcome all suggestions. But i prefer not to multi class.

Bump.

Samsaran.

I have only found it on divine lists and only the ranger have it as level 4 spell. So mystic past life is no good.

Am i to undestand thatn nobody have any thing and than i am to beg my wizard buddy for Spell support on that one?
It would have been great:(

Yeah, or you'll probably just have to go with UMD and a wand for this one.

Actually, that bring's up an interesting question. If you were a Samsaran (although it's completely not worth it), could you add it to your spell list as a 5th level spell and use wands of it (created by rangers) without Use Magic Device?

Samsaran Can not ad divine spells to arcane spell lists. And i Think it is a safe bet that you cannot put spells on a list on levels you that isent on that list.

I'm not sure. Anyone else know if it's possible to add a 5th level sorcerer/wizard spell to the bloodrager spell list (but not cast it, except with a wand)?

Monstrous Physique II (on the bloodrager list) gets you the ability to change into a doppleganger. This lets you treat any spell trigger item as if you had the spell on your list.

Otherwise, yeah you're going to have to multiclass.

Monstrous Physique II would not grant you a Doppelganger's ability, due to how the spell specifies which benefits you gain from assuming a monstrous form.

Animal Growth is a sorcerer/wizard 5th level spell.

Samsaran works fine.

Yes, and one of the ones MP2 gives you is mimicry, if the monstrous humanoid you're changing into has it. Dopplegangers do.

You dont Think it is a problem that bloodrager spell list only goes to 4?

Crap. Missed that.

I don't think that stops it RAW. I can't think of any reason why you couldn't just put a spell on your spell list that's too high for you to ever cast.

You wouldn't be able to cast it, but you could use a wand of the 4th level ranger version without UMD. But, like I said, you'd probably be better off just spending the skill points and other resources to pass the check. Samsaran doesn't exactly have bloodrager-friendly ability score bonuses.

If your Spell list only goes to 4 i cannot think of any reason why the rules should allow you to ad higher level spells to meta levels that could only be used with UMD. It os a corner case and i dont think the devs ever considered it but i would just Shake my head at a player suggesting it at my table.

And i would built this guy as a samsaran if it could give him the Spell. Enlarge with +8 on str +4 on con and +2 on nat armor. Is worth a bit of discomfort. I doubt i can find Rangers at level 13-14 ish that mass produce wands for my character any way.

Who said you need to know the spell to make the wand, +5 dc is easy to overcome.

To use a wand without UMD you could be a half-elf with the alternate racial that you can take an arcane class as your favorite class and use items of the chosen class as if you were that class.

Arcane Training Half-elves occasionally seek tutoring to help them master the magic in their blood. Half-elves with this racial trait have only one favored class, and it must be an arcane spellcasting class. They can use spell trigger and spell completion items for their favored class as if one level higher (or as a 1st-level character if they have no levels in that class). This racial trait replaces the multitalented racial trait.

That costs you your favored class bonus or a feat (eclectic) to get a second favored class for which you then can get the bonus.

But such wands are expensive.

as the rules are now wands cannot be made with out the Spell at hand. I dont remember if it is a FAQ a errata or what it is but it is with out doubt.

Near trick, if a bit expensive. And yes wands are expensive, it May be that going cavalier 1 sorcerer 6 DD 4 and EK for the rest is a better plan. Of cause the camel wont be big with me and i wont get rage but str can still be ok and he will have a bit more utility. And he is not gonna play before level 13 any way so he can have animal growth from the start. He will lose 4 bab but the str from DD and AG will compensate for that. He is gonna miss frost bite on the claws but he can use a axe in stead.
