I came home tonight to be greeted by an Adventure Mat at my front door (in addition to my children). There didn't seem to be anything on it or in it indicating who exactly had sent me the gift, so I'm guessing you meant to be anonymous with it (though if you didn't I'd be happy to know who sent it), but I wanted to say thank you to whoever it was. So...
Thank you! This is the kind of thing I would really like to own (as in, it is something related to PACG that I didn't own) but also the kind of thing I'd have a hard time convincing myself to spend my own money on. In other words, it is the perfect kind of gift; something I'd really want, but would never buy. I hope to get it on the table tonight if possible (assuming I get those children all in bed on time). One of the first things I thought of when looking it over was that if I roll my dice on it, it will deaden the sound, keeping things quite so those children aren't wakened by the sound of dice bouncing and rolling on my kitchen table. Now they will only be wakened by the sound of our victorious cheers of joy or defeated screams of agony.
Thanks again whoever you are. I really do appreciate it.

Not true. I have been to Hawkmoon's house*.
But it wasn't me...although I do agree he well deserves it!
He doesn't specify whether or not this had a shipping label on it...was it mailed, or did someone drop by your front porch? The fact that it is a mystery to be solved is almost a gift in itself.
*It is an actual person-house; not a server room or other type of location where an AI would "dwell". Admittedly, this could mean he's still a robot, but then he would be a cyborg, since he looks human.

I *almost* said, "I bet Calthaer knows!"
...But I wasn't sure I was remembering correctly, so I didn't open my mouth for fear of sticking my foot in it.
Hawk: Good to know you're human. Probably. The house is a good sign. Unless...
You hacked Calthaer's account with your crazy robot powers...
The world may never know.

Finally got to try it out tonight, the kids left my wife and I too drained last night to get any games in. But tonight it was a part of our failed attempt to discover the secret of Mancatcher Cove. Though I don't blame that failure on the adventure mat. In fact, I really like it and it will definitely be part of our regular setup.
And I do really like rolling dice on it too. They bounce just a bit and also are so quiet.
So thanks again unknown gifter. It is a great present. And thanks to all the others for your kind words.

I assume the gifter used the wishlist I had setup here on Paizo's site. I never actually intended anyone to buy anything for me from it, I was more just using it myself to track the various PACG related products and what I did and didn't own. But some exceptionally kind person seems to have stumbled upon it.
But that means my address stayed secret. Now I have to come up with what N.E.S.T. stands for though (because that is awesome)...I'm thinking the S should be "secret".

And yes, when you have a wishlist, people can buy you stuff without knowing your address.
