Shadow Lodge

Is this the most lame FCB there is? Just how many Good Discriptor arcane spells are there?

Any summon spell you use to summon a good creature, for starters.

Protection From Evil (Lvl 1)
Angelic Aspect, Lesser (Lvl 2)
Burst Of Radiance (Lvl 2)
Protection from Evil, Communal (Lvl 2)
Touch Of Mercy (Lvl 2)
Magic Circle against Evil (Lvl 3)
Angelic Aspect (Lvl 5*)
Chains Of Light (Lvl 6*)
Archon's Trumpet (Lvl 7*)
Angelic Aspect, Greater (Lvl 8*)

Add heavenborn and Force for Good for another +2 caster level. You can get a lot of utility out of the extra levels.

So not quite as useful as say the half-elf FCB for the sorcerer.

i usually ignore racial restrictions on favored class bonuses because the human favored class bonuses are so powerful and i want to increase the number of racial options people select besides humans. and well, extra favored class options allows for more character variety, because almost every sorcerer i have seen is a human for the favored class bonus, so i open it up to everyone.

Yeah, human pretty much wins them all. Some of the other have options for certain builds (aasimar for summoning, kitsune for enchantment, ect) but generally human wins. On a 1/2 elf, I've never thought twice about using the 1/2 one after it was FAQ'd that they could take human.

The Aasimar FCB's for Oracle and Bard blow the other ones away completely, but I'd still rather have the one for Sorcerer than for Cleric...

They really don't for the Oracle. I would far rather go Half Elf oracle for the extra spells known and access to Paragon Surge over boosting an animal companion revelation.

Aasimar FCB for Oracle is +1/2 level to any one revelation, super animal companion is just one of the many things to do with it. A personal favorite is greater polymorph at level 11 (Dark Tapestry ability Many Forms).

The scaling-by-level armor revelations can be huge with a 50% boost - by level 10 you've got 15 hours per day of weightless, costless armor effect that grants 10AC and an extra defensive perk as well. Really great if you want the flavor of an 'unarmored' type with high AC - a dex-based battle oracle in particular can be absurdly defensive with it.
