Last night I would be flying above Talongard or feet on ground in Kindleburn. Further north but not useful. I tried using minimap to fly out of Talongard an avoid red spots to middle of first hex north of Talongard. Logged out waited and back in Kindleburn. Gave it the night off.
Tomorrow would like further north AND in the west!
(does posting requests effect the game)?

It's worth a shot.

Wrong thread for this and we shouldn't have to do it anyway. I am pretty sure they are working on a real fix.
If you go "to the sky" or teleported "get resynced", do these things and you will get back (to right spot) most times.
1. Do not move around. That starts to build up a record of "where" you are.
2. Close client with"x" at top right.
3. Close patcher/launcher.
4 wait 2+ minutes. Restart.
5. If not fixed, do it one more time.
A little frustrating that we should have to this at all, but it is Alpha and (as noted above) I am sure that they are working on it.
Edit: Any Dev suggested proceedures trump this....

Somebody snapped up my Cure Potions +1, but the Bloodblocks +0 were still there last time I checked.
To any potential suppliers, don't go too crazy with the prices, and I'll happily buy Sanguine, Tonic and Antiseptic raw materials.
Belladonna berries, on the other hand, are plentiful in the NW. If anybody wants them, I'll be happy to part with a couple of hundred units.

My plan was to add some stuff to Alderweg's AH, but I woke up south of Auroral instead. But there's no such thing as teleporting....
It's not that there's no such thing. Ryan just explained why we teleport.
An overloaded server, administering the hex you belong in, freaks out and says "Here, you take Ulf!" to a less-busy server. Sometimes the less busy server happens to be responsible for hexes nearby, and sometimes it runs hexes on the other side of the map. From our perspective, we get teleported.

Last night, when I logged in I was in the hex south of Auroral - a place I have never been previously, so it was not a return to a last good spot. I tried numerous times to resolve it as you describe above, but my location persisted, except once when I logged back in to the skies of Thornkeep. When I came back in the next time, I decided I must actually be in the mountains of Auroral after all and started walking home.
The "log out, wait, log in" solution is well known at this point, but it is not universally effective. I'll be fine with losing any stuff I got while running quickly out of Golgotha (I didn't stop for much in the way of gathering or fighting anyway) if it means I wake up tonight in Tavernhold instead of whatever town I stopped in last night.

I failed to use my sarcasm font. I was also don't-call-it-teleported away from my planned activities last night.

It is only effective if you get out before the new server you were handed off to has a chance to record your position. And I suspect it should be quit, wait, log in. Even better* would probably be "Use task-manager to force quit** (so that the client has no chance to say "I'm logging off here"), wait, log in.
* In relation to having a chance of recovering the original location and for values of better that are prepared for the possibility of damaging a preferences file or something worse than an alpha character.
** If you try this, don't say I didn't warn you that the cure just might be worse than the ill.

I totally call it teleporting. Especially when it happens on your first log in for the day. I lost time from my planned activities last night, too.
On a related note, Ryan confirmed today that there is a rollback bug, and that rollbacks are not just a result of the server overloading. Maybe tomorrow, he'll let us know that something else is responsible for some of our teleports, too.

I'll try to pass by tonight and relist any of my stuff that is back in inventory. It will be mostly raw components (including salvage) a fair chunk of T2.
Mr. Baequiannia, if your beast pelts did not sell last time, I would appreciate a chance to buy them at higher than your list price for an exclusuve sale.
I can't seem to find them anymore.
@ GW
It would be great if one of the team looked into this. It doesn't make sense to me that T1 mats should be impossible to find or localized 1/2 of a world away from some areas...

@Bringslite,
There is a recent Alpha forum post listing where you can find pelts, did you see it?
I tried some of those, if you mean Ryan's post. I am not certain that I grasped his deliniation correctly. I certainly only found smooth animal pelts and other things in the hexes that I think he meant.
It could be that they are just exuasted or that there is a problem. Is anyone else still able to reliably find beast pelts?
They are one of the very most basic starter mats, I believe.

Someone, somewhere, and on what grounds I don't know, clamed that it was dropping more often from wolves with a higer Nature skill.
Not that I have really seen that with mere Nature 7 .... [/QUOTE
I thought that I got them from middens in the home hex half way between OV and Alderwag, though it might have been wolves. My Nature skill isn't any higher than that, though, and I picked up several in one evening. Unless I'm confusing Beast/Monster pelts again.
