I backed it on the first day, but I echo Christopher Hauschild's comment - 'advertisement' and discussion about this KS has been much, much less than that for the 5th edition version.
And of course, there's the Kobold's KS which is running/ ending at about the same time, which has garnered the lion's share of attention.

Thanks guys. I just want to get the spellbook done. With Chris gone a month and Mall of the eest of us very hard at work writing and getting sword of air done, we have just been short handed on the advertising side.
I'll do a few more updates over the last couple days. The adventures are rock solid. Wait until you see my tank battle!

As much as i would love to back it my money is tight at the mo. I'm saving it for the Northlands Saga. Is there any news on this Bill? I thought I heard it mentioned that it might be a fall kickstarter? or has this now gone on to next years schedule now?
Hi Simon,
Our next KS is going to be Cults of the Sundered Kingdoms. However, we've got to get our current Kickstarters fulfilled before we start our next. Northlands should be early in 2015. It's going to be big though. The last couple adventures in the Northlands AP are still being written, but the first 9 adventures in it are done as is the campaign guide. I'm glad you're excited about, cuz it's going to be pretty cool. :-)

Any chance of a compiled Splinters of Faith at some point? I think it's a very under-rated set of adventures, and it pretty easily forms a loose trilogy with Slumbering Tsar and Rappan Athuk.
Edit: and I'd love to see some more Saturday Night Specials or One Night Stands. I know that the big epic adventures you guys do tend to generate the most buzz, but I'm just as much of a fan of some of the shorter works as well. While I'm aware that it existed before FGG (even with a much better cover), Spire of Iron and Crystal is one of my favorite adventures you guys have published.

I read where some people have hesitated to pledge to FGG for fear they will not meet the delivery dates. I stand as testimony that they deliver on time or very very shortly thereafter. They are in no way affiliated with Center Stage Miniatures and their problems getting miniatures delivered.
So if you are considering pledging to FGG I urge you to do so soon as the Kickstarter will soon close.
Personally there are 2 3pp that I will regularly pledge during their Kickstarters, and they are FGG and Kobold Press.

Agree 100%.
The CSM situation is unfortunate, it would have been nice for them to license the ToH to Reaper instead but a bigger company = more expensive minis (most likely).
I don't see this as a mark against FGG, just a situation that can occur with a licensee. And CSM ToH isn't dead in the water, it looks like it just hit some barriers but it's stirring back to life.

Kthulhu, sorry I didn't see this before now. There is definitely a chance for a compiled Splinters at some point, though it'll probably be awhile yet. And you say under-rated, but Splinters was actually one of our best sellers early on, so it seemed pretty well appreciated. It just kind of quietly kept selling and selling. That said, I get what you mean. It never had a ton of buzz around it which made its excellent sales that much cooler. But, yeah, we like it a lot and will likely give it a bigger treatment at some time in the future. It came up in a conference call we had today in fact.
ONS and SNS are on hiatus for the time being. Despite being some really cool small adventures, many by noted authors in the industry, they have never sold very well. One of the reasons we're doing the big Northlands Saga Complete book is because the awesome little adventures Kenneth Spencer was writing for us (we released 4 of them), never amounted to much in sales. He had all this material but basically wasn't getting paid much of anything to write it. So we're rebooting that with a HUGE book to encompass ALL of his original material and we'll Kickstart it to make sure we've got the necessary funding to make it go and actually put some money in Ken's pocket for all his hard work.
As for ONS and SNS, we're weighing options on those things. Some of the older ones will likely get incorporated into larger works at some point. Of the many unpublished adventures that we have (we never printed them due to the low sales), we're looking at ways to incorporate them into larger projects as well so that they can see the light of day and not go unnoticed below the radar.
An example of how we will incorporate previous stuff in larger works is our upcoming Cults of the Sundered Kingdoms. It will include an update of three old Necromancer Games adventures along with three brand new adventures that incorporate them into a cohesive adventure path plus an exhaustive gazetteer of the region that was introduced with the region map we published with Barakus. The whole thing is something over 300,000 words, so it's going to be a BIG book with a lot of cool stuff in it that details a nice chunk of the Lost Lands campaign setting.

Sorry, I had announced it elsewhere but didn't realize that I hadn't here. Wasn't actually trying to keep it a secret. :-) The complete lineup for Cults of the Sundered Kingdoms AP is:
Beasts Among Us
Morrick Mansion
Shades of Yellow
Aberrations
Vengeance in the Hollow Hills
Crystal Skull
Goes from levels 3-12+ (I'd guess 14th or 15th if the players clear out Crystal Skull)

The gazetteer with the AP includes the main regions of:
District of Sunderland
Duchy of Southvale
Old Burgundia
Ramthion Island
the Wildlands
the Giantlands
Matagost Peninsula
Stony Strand
Kildren Point
I think those are the main ones (all I can remember off the top of my head anyway). Basically everything between Endhome and the Forlorn Mountains. It also includes a complete history of the region going back thousands of years plus a description of all the local ethnic groups.
It also includes a chapter of write-ups on 13 evil cults plus gives some information on a few more. Not gonna' tell which cults they are though. ;-)
(However, Orcus and Tsathogga are a good bet for two of them, just 'cause).

I'm real interested in this gazetteer. All 13 are demon lords from TOH? Demon lords plus other fiend lords (archdevils), or demon lords and other fiend lords and evil gods (Set)?
When is the kickstarter slated for?

No

No, no archdevils

This. They are mostly but not all demon lords. There are some other...things mixed in, including some gods, but I don't want to give away of my secretses. :-) But, yeah, mostly demon lords, several of which can be found in TOHC.

Baphomet, Dagon, Fraz-Urb Luu, Jubilex, Kostchie, Orcus, Pazuzu, Tsathogga.
Oinodaemon.
Hel. Set. Tiamat. Ereshkegal/Nergal.
That is if I were to pick from the Necromancer Game sourcebooks I've got and that my memory is right that Hel is in that original NG gods pdf and that Ereshkegal/Nergal are in the Mesopotamian adventures one along with Tiamt.
I may need to check if ToH4 had any demon lords.
Servitors like Mastiphal, Sonechard, Vepar, and Beluiri I do not expect to have cults of their own outside of those of their masters.
A bunch of the demon lords exist on Golarion so there is some crossover potential for Paizo APs like Reign of Winter and Wrath of the Righteous even though bestial Baphomet is a different take than lean maze insane Baphomet.
I really want someone to run with Fraz-Urb Luu though in all his illusionary glory.

I have a question for the Necromantic Frogs related to the Quests of Doom KS & Backerkit:
I wasn't able (due to lack of funds) to add on the Book of Lost Spells during the KS, but I see I can do that now via Backerkit. Would there be any way to also toss in a hardcopy of Stoneheart Valley to my 'order', and have these all shipped together (to save on postage)?

I'm positive there is. Shoot Bill an e-mail and he can tell you how to do it.
