Channel Cleric

Advice

I am playing my first cleric and wondering about the channel ability. There doesn't seem to be to many ways to maximize its ability. Anyone got any tips to help me with this?

Channel Negative or Positive?

Channeling is at its most basic level a support feature because it doesn't truly stand on its own but it makes anything you want to do better. It can help buff, debuff, control, heal, improve necromancy, make single enemies curl into a ball and more. Most commonly the best way to figure what you need for your channeling to work is decide what aspect I mentioned, or others, you wish to deal in. From there we can give more relevant advice.

There is a new feat in the ACG that allows you to increase your weapon damage by expending uses of channel energy. In fact there are two:
- channel force
- element channel

I'm trying to build around the second of those two. The thread is called crusader cleric of shelyn. Perhaps there will be some input there that is helpful, to you, too.

Sadly I didn't find any online sources of the feats to quote, yet. And I don't have my book with me.
