Most of the RPG books either say everything is legal except, or only the following is legal, The Advanced Class Guide does not and lists everything individually, because of that we can't assume things not listed are either legal or not.
All of the problems are in the Archetype chapter section and Additional resources just states "all archetypes on pages 75–133 are legal for play, except" not everything is that section are archetypes.
The Advanced Class Guide Additional Resources is missing if any of the following is legal:
New Alchemist Discoveries Pg. 75: No listing on if they are legal or not.
New Barbarian Rage Powers Pg. 80: No listing on if they are legal or not.
New Dares for Gunslinger Pg. 94: No listing on if they are legal or not.
New Magus Arcana Pg. 104: No listing on if they are legal or not.
New Barbarian/Skald Rage Powers Pg. 114: No listing on if they are legal or not.
New Combat Style Pg. 118: No listing on if they are legal or not.

I too had noticed this. And while we're on the subject of additional resource updates, I'd love to see the owners of catfolk, ratfolk, and samsaran boons have official access to their chapters from the ARG. John Compton previously noted that they were likely to get access to everything from those chapters, but since that comment there has been an update to the additional resources without any progress on this.
I have a samsaran character all ready to go, and I can't play it until I'm sure it's legal.

It seems I missed this thread before it disappeared from the list of recent discussions. The concerns are noted and have been added to my to-do list following the September scenarios. From my recollection, I believe all of the dares, discoveries, arcana, rage powers, etc. were going to be legal for play, but I'll need to review that chapter to be sure.

What if he's talking about Murder Hobos murdering Hobos (who may or may not be Murder Hobos, but are definitely Murdered Hobos)?

Thanks John! I'm overjoyed to hear that this might have been an oversight, and I look forward to letting my magus parry and riposte with her swashbuckling comrades!

Go read the archetype. Its quite obvious that they are murderers, and probably have no place in PFS.
A strangle is trained to choke the life out of her victims with her vise-like grip. Some stranglers are self-taught and are little more than brutish murderers, unhinged sociopaths, or opportunistic alley-bashers. Others are members of murder cults or specialized schools of assassination, trained since the cradle to kill with their bare hands.

I also wonder if they got the two order of the beasts confused.
That's...a really good point. I agree that I wasn't quite able to figure out why they had disallowed the one. But if they thought it was the Rovagug version, that makes complete sense.
I know I have a Huntsman Cavalier concept which would love to use the currently disallowed version.

Something else I noticed today:
Dragon Empires Gazetteer:
To create a kitsune, nagaji, or wayang character, you must have a Chronicle sheet that opens the race as a legal option at character creation.
Dragon Empires Primer:
Races: To create a kitsune, nagaji, or wayang character, you must have a Chronicle sheet that opens the race as a legal option at character creation
Advanced Race Guide:
To create an aasimar, dhampir, fetchling, grippli, goblin, ifrit, kitsune, nagaji, oread, suli, sylph, tiefling, undine, vishkanya or wayang character, you must have a Chronicle sheet that opens the race as a legal option at character creation.
(Also, check out my newly earned first GM star. Awesome.)

Ban the Slayer. Their class title says they slay things. They're murderers, and have no place in PFS.
Several other problem classes exist too. Barbarians are uncivilized - while they're capable of dealing nonlethal damage, most of the players who play barbarians aren't mature enough, and deal lethal damage instead (even though the nonlethal penalty is only -4!), so they need to be banned too, since killing has no place in PFS.
The wizard class can cast several spells which are not strictly nonlethal assaults - for example, I even saw a supposedly "Lawful Good" wizard light someone on fire with magic just because he was an armed thug working for the Aspis Consortium! They're definitely on the ban list because killing stuff, especially in a painful way such as with fire, has no place in PFS.

Did you even read the description quoted before you tried to make your joke?

Yes. I was simply pointing out the absurdity of the position that a class focused on killing things is inappropriate for a game about killing things. Some wizards are demon-worshipping necromancers - that doesn't mean the wizard is banned. Some stranglers are Chaotic Evil serial killers - that doesn't mean the strangler is banned. It's actually funny that someone would take this stance.
