No. there are a separate class of rings for summon nature ally spells.

At first I thought they didn't have a chaotic good ring because 3 Azatas are already on the base summoning tables (I'm thinking of them as useful for sacred summoning, mostly)
but ... I didn't even notice there are 2 LE rings and 2 CE rings, as if those alignments need more options for Sacred Summons. (It is nice to have more options of course ) At least most other alignments have options now.
Sigh, still not able to build an Angel Summoner, I'll always be the BMX Bandit.

I guess there are two ways of evaluating the answer, which Ring of Summoning Affinity provides the best monsters out of the Rings of Summoning Affinity, and which alignment has the best list of aligned monsters for summon monster with the Rings. Daemon, Qlippoth, and Inevitable provide a lot of bang for the gp. I don't have enough experience with summoning monsters at higher levels to have an opinion on which alignment has the best available monsters for summoning.

I was gonna write a guide but I got lazy, maybe I still will but my initial impressions:
Aeon: Worse than regular summons, cant even use for sacred summons. Edit: I forgot the theletos added to the lvl4 list is also Cr7, not that great for a Cr7, but outclasses any of the standard Cr3 summons for the spell level. The akhana at 9th has 1 raise dead SLA and 2 restorations, abuse away.
Agathion: Gives leonal at level 8 while summon good monster gives it at 9, pretty alright but the lower level monsters arent worth it
Angel: Adds manadic/movanic devas which you get from the feat but add good aligned options at levels there wouldnt be any otherwise for sacred summoning
Archon: Adds legion and shield archons which the feat adds, neither are great but no other lawful good options those levels for sacred summons
Asura: Adds a CR 7 summonable with SM4 so... theres that. Aghasura is probably flat better than bone devil at same level offensively but is huge
Daemon: Pretty much the only way to get neutral evil things so if thats your thing it adds a lot of options. Leukos and Piscos at lvl7 both seem usable, lvl9 has true sight energy drain and 3 enervations, meladaemon at 8th with horrid wilting, 3 quickened magic missles, waves of fatigue. Decent overall- some options have auras and gazes, careful of friendly fire
Div: Nothing stands out, mostly for flavor (but not at all bad)
Inevitable: adds 2 options the feat doesnt (at 8th and 9th), Zelekhut at lvl7 has true sight one of the earliest options I know, kolyarut at will enervation and 3 quickened suggestions, marut is CR 15 might be the highest or tied for highest Cr summon available, pretty good overall
Kyton: Not many options but the 9th level interlocutor has breath of life
Protean: Naunets at 6th can get through some material DRs, Imentesh at 9th is bad cr for the levl (Cr 10) but has permanent freedom of movement if you need that. With 4d6 sneak attack if you can summon it into flanking against something with bad ac it could actually probably do okay. Not a lot of added options from the ring and the feat adds the immentesh at 8th level instead
Psychopomp: None of the options are too combat focused and you get the same summons from the feat but get catrina at 4th instead of 5th (still pretty bad)
Qlippoth: All have horrific appearance, watch for friendly fire or turn it off. Shoggti at 6th have touch attack 1d4 wis damage, augnagar at 9th is huge with 30ft reach.
All the 3rd level options added are basically the same, only useful for commune but that has 10 min cast time.
Barring a few outliers (adhukhait asura) or for the purposes of sacred summons none of these would really be must have items, or they can save you a feat on summon good/neutral monster. Most of the time the options just dont compare to the equivalent level summoned animal with the appropriate smite going.

A 17th level Master Summoner with the Ring of Agathion summoning putting out 1d3+1 leonals is an average of 416 healing per leonal for one use of your ~16/day SLA. On top of pounce, 3(1d3+1) Walls of Force, unlimited fireballs(1d3+1)/hold monsters, and protective auras on all of them to shield your teammates. And if you have SGM, they all have Diehard. It's a long way off, but definitely something that can come in handy at the end of an AP.

Would this ring be a good alternative to a wizard who isn't going into the whole summoning specialisation builds? I have this half orc wizard who is going eldritch knight later, he might pick 2-3 summon monster spells along the way, but I like fancy items like this, they looks fun to have around.
If not, he will probably buy one or try and find one to give to the party summoner to buy him out.

Daemon is easily my favorite.
For starters, it provides the most new options. This means you get the most new tactical options for the battlefield. Secondly, you get the cacodaemon, which is going to pay for the ring on it's own. Drawing out souls into soul gems is exceedingly valuable as those souls can be used to pay for material components or magical item crafting. By the time we can afford the ring, most souls we encounter should be worth between 100 to 500 gold, and they'll only get more valuable as we gain levels and take on greater challenges.
Granted, this is all unspeakably evil, but if our GM is willing to let us use the soul binding rules from Horsemen of the Apocalypse, this is easily the best option, hands down.

If your GM allows magical tattoos, just get the meridian belt, a hand of glory, and tattoos of both of the same. Get all of the rings, and summon like mad. It's expensive as all get out, but you can accomplish loads with only one spell in every slot now.

What does all that do, exactly?
The Sacred Summons feat helps a little, what with the devils and hell hound already there.
I'll get a few levels out of 1, 1d3,and 1d4+1 hellhounds.
The hand of glory lets you replace your neck slot with a ring slot.
The meridian belt lets you wear two extra rings, and swap which two rings are worn as a swift action.
Magical tattoos are an optional ruleset from Inner Sea Magic that allow for duplicate item slots, at double cost.
With all of the above, you can wear up to 10 rings by having 2 rings, 2 meridian belt rings a hand of glory ring and tattoo duplicates of all five. It's not typically useful to spend that much gold and effort on rings, but for this, it might just be.
