It is the opposite of decent, nay it goes beyond indecent to un-decent. It is not the worst chocolate out there, but that is akin to saying Acer is not the worst PC maker. They are still pretty terribad.
Thanks CBD, I totally misread that.
Eh, I've had a lot of chocolate. Hersheys isn't great, but it's not that bad. It's decent milk chocolate.

Just a chisquared. We tend to use chiquared values as tests of fits in physics, so ROOT spits out chisquared values. See here for what information you can get out of the fits. If you have a function you think describes the data well just let me know and I'll try fitting it as custom functions are easy to do.
Getting an R-squared would likely require calling minuit (what ROOT itself uses to fit) directly to do the fit with a custom minimization program. I've done such programs many times, but never bothered with an R-squared.
Basically it should be possible to get R-squared directly with custom code, but it's PITA to get directly from ROOT, so you'll have to settle for a chisquared (unless you have an alpha invite to give away ;) ).
Chisquared values look poor if trying to fit it with just a straight line: ~43000 for ~200 degrees of freedom. There is waviness around the straight line, so adding a sine function to the linear model does improve things, but the fit is still poor (~33000 chi2). However, I expect this fit is simply not converging to its best values so the best chisquared should be much much better. If you've played with fitting programs you know just how much of an art it can be to get fitting functions to converge!

Eve is perhaps the most difficult game ever made to pick up and catch onto as a new players.
Its very complicated, completely un-intuitive and griefer friendly.
There's very little in the way of actual help menues and in game explanations of how things work.
Don't feel bad or humiliated of you didn't pick it up and "beat" the game in 3 hours.
I've played since shortly after release off and on and have a "uber" character because I kept training even when not actively playing but am still a complete newb in many areas of the game.

If you want to try it again I'll meet up with you with my noob character and give you the shakedown. A little time there could turn out very useful for your first days in EE. If it started this weekend your free trial should last just long enough to get you through to alpha livestreams.

I fear life has other plans for me. But thank you for the very gracious offer.
