We have never said that you would be able to log in without a valid account. There has been some speculation about that but we've been extremely careful to never commit to that kind of policy. (*)

So not committing to it, yet also not denying it in case the 'rumor' brought more subscriptions. A tactic I've become used to so well since so much of what was promised during the kickstarter fell through. All the changes over the last few years from the original vision that the kickstarter sold has been right along these lines. If there's something I've learned through GW action, is expect nothing. Then you won't be disappointed.

Goblin Squad Member

Not only is that not much notice, but we were led to believe over the last two years that if we didn't subscribe we would loose out on gaining XP but would still be able to log in and play. It may be a game-killer for me to see that is not the case.

Good luck, their notoriously an offensive, not defensive, life form with a very prickly disposition.

Make sure you have a blanket.

I appreciate the fact that you don't think of this as a big deal.

However, I do not appreciate the fact that you made the assertion without providing any evidence. To the best of my knowledge, this did not happen.

The existing strained relationship between our Power Blocs makes it difficult to give the benefit of the doubt that this is not a ploy to cast doubt on Phaeros's integrity without having to do so formally with evidence.

Note that I am not saying it didn't happen, I'm saying I was not aware of it if it did. If you have any evidence, I would very much like to see it. I will also talk to the rest of the Phaeros leadership to determine if any of them have any knowledge of this.

I appreciate with the history between our crews that you might always jump to the worst conclusion, and demand proof for many situations. You'll learn I do not make statements I'm not prepared to back up.

I'm after making money for Callambea and our trade partners in a straight forward manner, with contracts, trade agreements and other lawful means of exchange as they become available. I choose to leave the day to day drama to those more concerned with it.

The northern tower of Iron Gauntlet was indeed claimed by Pax Aeternum of Callambea at some point. Since our tower numbers haven't changed in some time, I'm fairly certain at this point it was an error in the initial rush to claim towers.

Should this had been brought up at any point during that time, Callambea would of course not contested Iron Gauntlet retaking their tower. Iron Gauntlet, however, does not seem to be active as all their other towers were 'Unclaimed'. Of course now that a week has passed, those Unclaimed towers are being acquired by various companies, but before today the Northern Tower was the only one that appears to have been wrongly taken.

As all this was brought up less then 24 hours before the point became moot, my personal feeling is no-harm, no-foul. Just as the Empire of Xeilias didn't make an issue about Phaeros taking Kreuz Bersteins Northern Tower, we simply took it back. Since Phaeros didn't contest, no harm, no foul. We simply felt it silly to blow something causing absolutely no harm completely out of proportion.

At any rate, we are cleansing our roster and re-enforcing with our people what the NAP means. If any person(s) want to pursue this, feel free to contact me directly.

lol .. all those double negatives ... have you done legal training ?

Kinda, I'm married :P

I'm glad their waiting until the game isn't unplayable before deducting our pre-paid time for EE.

"We want the first players in Pathfinder Online to have a high-quality experience and we are committed to delivering the game in a condition that meets that objective."

I find this a bit misleading. It should actually state "Minimum Viable Product" not "High-Quality Experience" as those two are the antithesis of each other.

Goblin Squad Member

Callambea's leadership is ok with this document and we're ready to sign off as well, Cheatle.

Goblin Squad Member

I'm available to represent Callambea on Saturday, just need a time.

Goblin Squad Member

This has been happening to a number of people. I get rubber-banded around while playing quite often. I was unable to get out of Thornkeep all day Saturday, heheh.

Goblin Squad Member

Hopefully we'll have a Happy Halloween, no more delays please GW. ;)

Goblin Squad Member

Gotta love alphas, heh.

Goblin Squad Member

EE is nearly here, if your looking for a crew to run with and a settlement to help get running, check out the Hounds of Callambea!

Goblin Squad Member

Ahhh, Alpha is fun, picked up my first kill. Those rep hits sure are huge, the guards think I'm the best target dummy since that greased up deaf goblin that streaks through town from time to time.

Goblin Squad Member

Another Alpha weekend to tease everyone, check out Twitch for those who stream, just search for "Pathfinder Online"

Callambea now has Orc Friendly 'facilities', complete with water-elemental fueled Orc-Sized Baday's and triple sound proof walls, so passerby don't think the city is under attack!

Come sell your horde's pillaged goods in our markets, our coin would love to make your acquaintance!

Goblin Squad Member

Hey, all you companies out there who don't have a Settlement! Check into the Northern Coalition and see if one of their many settlements would be a good fit for you! Come where PvP is a priority, join a NC settlement!

Goblin Squad Member

Monsters got you down? Do you find it hard to harvest those goods when your harvesting operation is constantly drawing the attention of monsters, players, and bored Devs playing 1/3 CR Goblins? Hire a detachment of Hounds mercenaries to protect you, and gather those goods in peace!

Goblin Squad Member

Worried someone will hunt down and destroy your merchandise shipments, or even just your product in general? Concerned that some anarchist might interfere with your profits? Generate contracts with the Aeternum Trade Alliance, and enjoy the protection from chaos your merchants deserve.

This brought to you by Warstein Ale, when everyone's drunk, everyone wins!

It freely flows out of the tap, but to get it into that tankard... that'll take a coin or three ;)

Goblin Squad Member

It would be easier to code to just give the settlement leader a class 4 Bag of Holding full of stuff for the settlement.

And of course the BoH would be a wonderful "Thank you!" to the settlement's for kickstarting the game! *hint hint*

Slave Girl outfits aren't Alliance, they belong to the Hutt Cartel.

Seems to me that is most definitely not playing the game as it was intended to be played. I bet it's an oversight/bug, as getting a murderer flag for killing yourself doesn't make any sense.

I'm hoping this will be fixed to prevent people from acquiring achievements by exploiting oversights/bugs, but we'll see how it goes.

Crafters and Merchants, remember the Hounds of the Imperium when it comes to contracting your caravan guards. We guarantee that we will provide protection of your goods with our violence and lives. If... "If" we fail, we will compensate you with a free open Bounty or Assassination contract on each of the individuals that hit your caravan until both you, as our client, and us have our vengeance satisfied.

The Book O' Grudges has unlimited pages...

Goblin Squad Member

With all these people joining the Empire, there's even more need for Mercenaries. Pick up your weapon and come make some coin! See the OP for how to apply!

Goblin Squad Member

Don't worry, that's a "Feature" :)

Goblin Squad Member

Well that's what you get for doin' math in your 'dead'. You don't animate them to do your arithmetic, ya goofy assassin!

Goblin Squad Member

And welcome to the Empire!

Goblin Squad Member

Siege and formation combat sound like your kind of game-play? Is Settlement Warfare what your really looking forward to? Do you want to have access to the best armor and weapons in the game for your Soldiery?

Consider becoming a Knight in the Corpus Aeternum, and achieve glory and riches on the battlefield.

Once OE hits, you could always expand and have a settlement with that name ;)

Congrats to all parties involved, your settlement will be a great beacon of goodness in the realms.

We'll have to set up drink stations along the route to Kreuz Bernstein from Callambea. That way all those taking goods back and forth don't have to worry about gettin' thirsty. Just huge kegs in stone structures with spigots stickin' out of it and tankards connected to it with a chain.

I wouldn't make any money on it, but it sure seems to make sense!

We were a cross between "Release the Hounds!" and "Badges? We don't need no stinking badges!"

On the Xeilias Site Charlie George is Angelina Weaver, in case you can't find him ;)

I'm talkin' about Axes in-game! All I've seen so far in the Alpha streams for melee weapons are swords, the clerics mace, and more swords... or items with no graphic at all. As an avid axe wielder, no... 'Axe' wielder (they are a holy item after all!) I'm anxious to see GW's interpretation of the best weapon ever devised!

Anyone seen any Axe mechanics/graphics?
