Shaman Hexes

Since the Shaman class is still not out yet, this is probably a moot question until August. But can a Shaman gain the Extra Hex feat? Furthermore, could a Shaman use the Extra Hex feat to gain another use of Wandering Hex each day?

Under Extra Hex feat in the ACG, it says "If you are a shaman, it must
be a hex granted by your spirit rather than one from a wandering spirit."

So now the question becomes "Can a shaman get an any-spirit shaman hex or an additional witch hex with the feat?" I'm guessing "no" for the witch hex since the shaman is only allowed to take one witch hex without using Extra Hex, but do the all-spirits hexes count as hexes granted by your spirit?

Can a shaman take the "split hex" feat? It requires 10 levels of witch. However, 1) a shaman is a hybrid witch and 2) when using a witch hex, shaman levels count as witch levels. If a shaman does take "split hex", does it only work with his witch hex?

Extra Hex will NOT allow you an extra wandering hex. It only grants you and additional FIXED hex. And no, this doesn't allow you to take "Witch Hex" more than once.

If you want an additional wandering hex, you can always take Spirit Talker which is essentially a wandering hex. However it's not limited to the wandering spirit you have chosen for that day.

Let's say you have the Heaven spirit as your main, and Battle spirit as your wandering for the day. Your wandering hex then can be either a Heaven spirit hex or a Battle spirit hex. You can, however, take any spirit hex with your Spirit Talker feat, even if it's from neither the Heaven or Battle spirit.

I for example use my wandering hex to take Heaven's Leap, while I use Spirit Talker to take Friend to Animals from the Nature spirit. Even when neither my main nor my wandering spirit is the Nature one.

If what you want is two Witch hexes, then you're SOL unless you multiclass to an actual witch.
