Full Metal Syndicate, in cooperation with Peace Through Vigilance, is excited to announce the name of our settlement in Pathfinder Online!
Deep in the mountains and foothills of the River Kingdoms, Ozem’s Vigil will be a bastion of light in the darkness. We will build a Lawful Good community that is militant, religious, and welcoming to players & companies of a similar vein. We will be a diverse community, opening our gates to all kinds that have not strayed from the law or embraced evil.
Playing it Lawful Good will be one of the hardest roles to play, yet one of the most powerful. Always abiding the law and avoiding evil acts will be a burden to some players, but there are rewards to reap for being quintessentially good and wholesome. We will revel in PvE content while vigilant against all evil-doers.
We will build a strong a economy. One steeped in metal & stone, to befit a proper army. We will strive to be as vigilant as the Knights of Ozem were, in protecting their former leader, Iomedae. She is the goddess of righteous valor, justice, and honor in Golarion and a source of inspiration for our settlement. Religious-themed players, such as Paladins, Clerics, etc. will harmonize well with Ozem’s Vigil.
righteous valor, justice, and honor; the hardest road

I've listed you alongside Full Metal Syndicate in the Guild Recruitment section of Guild Recruitment & Helpful Links. Would you like me to remove Paladin and Armory Settlement? Granted, it may be utterly moot since most folks will be looking at the Land Rush Leaderboard now.

Just applied for your settlement over at the Land Rush. I think my paladin found a solid base of operations...
Yay welcome, we have a settler forum too, so make sure to sign up there.

Awesome! Welcome and got you approved. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us with any questions you might have. Quite a few of us tend to be very active on these forums. ;)

Why yes we do, we're currently #6 on the leaderboard! Vote for Ozem's Vigil!

Hello Full Metal Syndicate and Peace Through Vigilance, I am but a humble dwarven knight who had pledged his sword to The Knights of the Crusader Road, however, no activity has been seen with the leadership of that Order for a while, and as such, I am looking for a new base to patrol the roads from.
I was wondering why I should sign up with the city of Ozem's Vigil rather than Pax Aeternum or Forgeholm (as those two, along with your city, are the options I am considering at this time)

Hello Stonebreaker.
I won't be able to tell you why you should sign up with us over another group. That's a decision you will have to make yourself. What I can do is tell you that we are a Lawful Good settlement and will focus on Paladin training when it comes into the game and following the vision we've set forth. It is something that both companies agree on and it quite honestly is getting really exciting taking the first steps to make that happen. If you would like more information, please visit our website here.
If you like what you see, we would love to have you. However I don't think you could go wrong with any choice of the three communities you've mentioned. Pax Aeternum and Forgeholm are both thematic and dedicated to PFO. I'm sure either of those will make you a good home, if you decide that we aren't the perfect fit.
All the best-
Q.

Hey all -
We've got a new video. This is from PaizoCon from last year. We thought with the Landrush going on, the community might find it interesting to check out. It's a year old, so not sure how much has changed.
It starts with Ryan Dancey and then Mike Hines - Art Director of Goblin Works talking about Settlement Art Assets.

Bored, so I put some icons for the existing settlements on the map.
Nice.
Hope you don't mind me linking to this map.
Anyone else suddenly noticing that the guild icon hexagons are aligned with the 'points' up/down while the map hexagons are aligned left/right?

I did notice that. If set like Sundracon did it allows you to see what terrain that icon is on.

No problem at all. I chose to keep the symbol as it was specifically so you can still see what terrain type it is on.

Decided that Ozem's Vigil would be a good place for my knight to call home, not looking to be part of your guilds just yet. Just going to be a free agent right now if that is acceptable :)
Hi Stonebreaker. Just wanted to let you know that free agent members are absolutely welcome--no pressure to join companies. Welcome aboard!

Ozem's Vigil sounds like the kind of place I'd like to be part of.
Just a question on Paladins though - my understanding is that, at least for EE, we'll only have the four basic classes - fighter, thief, mage and cleric. How would one go about playing a paladin under this scheme? Will there be capstone abilities for classes that don't exist in EE?
