While I have yet to decide where I will hang my cloak, Callambea or Ozem's Vigil, I wanted to say hello, and that I think the decision of Fidelis to settle in OV is a geat one! I wish for the prosperity of your city!

((I am a member of the Pax community who is not EE so has no votes, and who may yet choose even a different home due to a penchant for chaotic alignments. Or may yet choose not to play at all, depending on how things go. However, I wanted to at least say hi to everyone and show my support of this development.))

Well, seeing as Fidelis was one of the companies I was looking at joining, it seems being a part of Ozem's Vigil was the right choice.

Welcome to the city :)

"Chaos" you say? Then there is only one main choice for you... Aragon (CN), currently in the top ten on the leaderboard.

Bad form to recruit in other company/settlement threads. ;(

@Merkaile, I don't think you'll have an issue; the devs have described the tavern as likely an essential piece of a city due to its ability to restore players' Power, so I think that we'll have a tavern here too.

Will your tavern have Gnome Rates? We are only small, and your big sized folk glasses tend to get us right off our rockers.

Yes. They come with a highchair. ;)

You are quite correct, although it was more of a joke, but I apologize none the less. I saw "chaos" and the temptation overcame all......

Bad form on my part, sorry!

I took it as a joke, too. Kind of a follow-up to the Warstain Ale ad. ;)

I actually expect Bludd to be greedy. I find it quite in character. :)
Again major props on your addition to the Aragon family Bludd, strong move.

Some of us may need chaotic and neutral settlent trainers for our more scout/rogue/ranger like skills. That will of course engender trading of services. It's hard to say when we really know few details of the exact system of skills/training and alignments associated with them.

Of course all the taverns of the lands must be visited and sampled!

From the look of your avatar, I bet you don't limit your sampling to just in taverns. I challenge you in team speak to say Fidelis after 15 mugs of ale!!!!

Heck, Bludd, I don't think I could say my own name after 15 pints of ale! But I will join you on TS to drink any time you want.

Goblin Squad Member

Hmmm, 15 pints of locally made ale/beer is pretty stout but fair warning, I was in the Navy!

Garundi Paladin - Amaziah Hadithi here very interested. Also a big rper and will be playing true to type as a Paladin of Sarenrae - a neutral good character that is more interested in good than law.

Sounds like you would be a great fit with us.

Neutral good will most definitely work in our settlement. ;)

Be not concerned. The Good at heart and most centered in Law are valued. Only the completely lawless (Chaotic) and Evil are beyond our ability to welcome as members. ;)

Good, like evil, comes in many guises. Funny how we are quick to assume a poor character in a horned tiefling, and a worthy one in a golden haired maiden, when quite the reverse may be true.

Character is demonstrated by actions, not looks.

I think it's a case of waaay too much Color Coded for Your Convenience for our own good. But, it is an easy way to set a scene. Or even set up a trope for subversion.

I was referring to a fine pint of Warstein Ale! While your outside is gettin' all girly, your insides should be filled with fury! Let the fire of Warstein Ale make something that would normally be viewed as 'elfish' into a roaring good time!

Order a keg today!

(Okay I can totally see these two being hilarious in their encounters)

"It serves me right for thinking that you could have been talking about anything else but beer. Perhaps I shall have a keg"

*Gives a playful laugh and soft nod*

I'm very late in hearing this news but as I've said in a separate thread I'm quite glad to know I'll be sharing Golarion with you brave folk!

I also know a witch who will cackle with joy when hearing the good news...

Thank you, Saiph.

We are pretty excited about all of this. We are looking forward to a proactive, team based, and coordinated approach to the game.

We are going to embrace the game in an authentic way- PVP, politics, and thematically sensible. The way that we feel Good People should.

Looking forward to sharing the world with you also! :)

A goat-drawn vardo pulls up next to Bringslite as he's speaking outside the mighty walls of Ozem's Vigl. The ornate yellow wagon begins to rock back and forth and sounds of banging pots and shattering glass can be heard from outside. Suddenly the tiny window on the side of the wagon bursts open and out flows the scent of foreign spices followed by the head of very lively, yet very old crone.

"Well isn't this a beauty, aye Goaty? They sure do know how to decorate!"

<Pulls out her pipe and lights it whilst still chatting>

<Looks directly at Bringslite>

"'Ye a real good looking fella, yup 'ye is. Thou won't be needing any of 'me love potions that's for sure. How about a swiftness charm for a journey hmmm? Perhaps a healing salve?"

<rummages through her pockets>

"These here bones of mine be hurting lad, will thou show an old crone to the nearest tavern, my tongue be thirsty for some dark mead! Been hunting witches for days now, two got away can 'ye believe it? Slipped right through these here fingers.

"My Dear Lady! It will be an honor to escort you to some comfortable place to rest and refresh with libations."

<Bringslite circles the fascinatingly small "House on wheels" while the goats eye him with a look that keeps him from the vicinity of the front end...>

<In a deep and loud voice, he speaks as he circles>

"We have some most proficient bakers as well, should you have hunger. If our small unfinished inn is not to your liking, we will find something that is. Be assured."

<Once at the rear, he attempts to work the simple looking handle of the door... his mind grows numb and he finds that it seems actually complex, quite beyond its appearance...>

<jerking his hand away and shaking off the strange confusion, he awaits for the kindly charming old woman to exit in her own time...>

<Clearing his throat, he continues in the loud voice. Thinking that she could probably hear if he were to whisper.>

"Did you mention witches, M'Lady? That is a story that I will gladly treat you to dinner to hear. Please leave your coin in a safe place. You will not need it tonight. Will you need fodder or stabling for... uhm 'Goaty'?"

Goblin Squad Member

Buurz waddles her way towards the vardo's door and casts a quick jinx to unlock the door. Once out of the wagon she takes the arms of the young man and they make their ways towards the quaint, highly decorative city.

"So tell me laddie, who's in charge of the decor around here? Verrrrrry talented they be, oh yes. Take after 'me own hearts they do, ain't every day 'ye see such a wagon, I painted it me self!"

<cackles>

Goblin Squad Member

<Bringslite answers with inclined head. Every indication of politeness as his trained eyes gather as many clues as possible...>

"My thanks Lady. Our craftsmen are indeed talented. Their influences being from many of the Benevolent Religious teachings that make us what we are. Simply servants to Humanity."

<Though only trained in observation (The Goddess Gifts beyond such a novice as himself) Bringslite feels confident that this woman means no harm.>

"I see that you must have little to fear from these dangerous roads! Your home is painted beautifully and quite brightly. A treat to the eye indeed."

"Right this way Lady, there should be fresh bread being pulled from the ovens right about now. Your timing is marvelous."

<The young warrior nods to the sentries to indicate that he vouches for the Woman on his arm. One has the temerity to let the corner of his mouth show a slight grin, obviously in good natured amusement.>

"Let us get the road dust from your throat and a comfortable chair by the fire. Then I will ask you about these witches. I am most interested..."

So it looks like we got position E on the landrush and we are surrounded by good aligned settlements, Mystical Awakening did not state their alignment on the goblinworks website though. Magistry is the only settlement that is larger than we are around us.

What are your thoughts on this first week of the landrush?

Not bad, just curious though wasn't OV planning on being a metal and stoneworking guild?
