Tonight's adventure was fun, there was 5-7 of us tackling an escalation south and west of the starting town. I started with 2 recipes and now I have 24 so I think it was a success :)

EDIT: I also had a lot more fun in the party, much more than just on my own

I would like one :)

Should it really say "Come as a few Friends"?
Wouldn't "Come with a few Friends" sound better?
Just my thoughts when I read it :)

Goblin Squad Member

That you did.
How to drum up more excitement for the land rush? post a blog about how exciting the land rush is ^.^

Ozem's Vigil... The lawful good settlement that welcomes independent free agents.

but somewhat appropriate

Excellent, now that I have figured out the little hic-up I had with the website, I should now be able to get to know everyone better

So it looks like we got position E on the landrush and we are surrounded by good aligned settlements, Mystical Awakening did not state their alignment on the goblinworks website though. Magistry is the only settlement that is larger than we are around us.

What are your thoughts on this first week of the landrush?

Goblin Squad Member

Yeah, as well as close to The Gauntlet

Well, seeing as Fidelis was one of the companies I was looking at joining, it seems being a part of Ozem's Vigil was the right choice.

Welcome to the city :)

It seems to me that this whole debate stemmed from the fact that Golgotha put 'PAX' in front of their settlement name on the land rush. Now, I have no knowledge on them joining the PAX gaming group or anything said on their forums like others obviously do.

I recall Golgotha being a separate guild before the second land rush started and assumed that they just put PAX in their name to show that they were going to be part of the same nation after the game started.
I saw a quote that cities could barter and try to win votes for this land rush, and I just figured that that is what Golgotha did with Aeternum... "Hey, we will be part of your nation and put PAX in our name if you send some of your people that can vote for us our way" or something to that effect.

Obviously I have not kept up to date on the forums here till this last week and I don't really pay attention to the political maneuverings that closely and that may be my downfall on this topic, among others..(I didn't even know about the Roseblood Accord until reading of its existence on this thread)

Therefore, in closing, I think Golgotha can keep the settlement in the land rush.

What does the other members of TKotCR that have signed up here think?
Where have you cast your vote in the land rush? (If you have at all)

To my knowledge there is no second in command, we have no website and not much was discussed here as to the chain of command
If anyone talked to Tarondor and was appointed to the council of captains They would be whom I would talk to, though I don't know who that might be.

Wow, that is a lot of uncertainty... as I have signed up as a settler at Ozem's Vigil because of the lack of activity here, I would like to see TKotCR be a company within that city

Decided that Ozem's Vigil would be a good place for my knight to call home, not looking to be part of your guilds just yet. Just going to be a free agent right now if that is acceptable :)

Hello Full Metal Syndicate and Peace Through Vigilance, I am but a humble dwarven knight who had pledged his sword to The Knights of the Crusader Road, however, no activity has been seen with the leadership of that Order for a while, and as such, I am looking for a new base to patrol the roads from.
I was wondering why I should sign up with the city of Ozem's Vigil rather than Pax Aeternum or Forgeholm (as those two, along with your city, are the options I am considering at this time)

I Tend to lurk a lot simply because the guild I signed up for hasn't done much (hoping they are still going to be there for EE) and because most of what I would say on a topic has already been said or I don't know how to word what I want to say...

It looks to me like the first picture is of a Wood-processing outpost, and the second picture is of a Food-processing smokehouse or some such.

The fist picture looks more like a food (wheat) production outpost to me because of the windmill.. could there be more then one type of outpost for each type of bulk resource

Stonebreaker here, I am a member of the knights of the crusader road and I am a lurker through and through, i think this would be my 3rd maybe 4th post, try to read the new posts once a day during the week

So are we going to have regular patrols of the main road? or are we just going to travel with the merchents that use the road to make sure they are safe?

(mostly a bump for our company but also courious as to the answer to the above question)
