How much cheaper is the Holiday Inn Dark Sasha? I want to go, but have no real money at present. The motel bill is what might break the bank.
I seem to recall it was a good 20 dollars a night cheaper than the Marriott's Con rate, which I missed as I tried to get a room too late for the Con block of rooms last year. This year I booked a room sooner and got one at the Marriott.

Thanks for the offer Bill, but I don't want to impose on anyone and sleeping on a floor with my multitude of hockey injuries is like sleeping on a bed of nails for the average person. Besides, the room is relatively inexpensive compared to the flight.
If you're running a booth and need my help, I'll work extra hard to figure out a way to get down there though.

and adventures are Canon--Matt will do SW conversions later for SW as pdfs
Once all the environment books are done, any chance you'd be able to put out a hardcopy of the SW converted adventures? (I'm thinking B&W, softcover - not one of the usual FGG works of art).
On paper is always much better than digital only, in my view and if I know a compilation of the adventures is on the way, I dont have to get my own version printed.

With the three adventures from Fields of Blood, that would bring it up to six full adventures from the new series. S & W conversion would need to address some of the new monsters that appear in each of the adventures, especially the second one.

Yeah, if it's not possible, it's not possible and I can just get them printed and bound myself. If it were feasible though it would be a nice adjunct for those of us playing S&W (those of us who like the feel of real paper, anyhow).

Oh, and likely Artic as well:)
I'm starting to feel like I'm going to be the Encyclopedia Britannica when all is said and done.
But in a good way.
Don't worry, Bill. We have Tom booked up on the rest of this series until sometime in 2017 or so.
Tom is going to be like Cliff Clavin whenever somebody brings up weather patterns, geography, and indigenous plants and animals. ;)

It's all practice for my career as a meteorologist/ naturalist.

Any news on this yet? I was hoping it would be released by now (for those of us who backed the The Lost City of Barakus kickstarter)...
To the best of my knowledge, still on track for a July release.
I also turned in the last files for the sequel, Fields of Blood, earlier this week, so that's completely done from end and waiting for the Frog team to work their green magic.

Most excellent :)
Question: according to the update on KS, persons who purchased DoD via Backerkit as hardcover were supposed to get the PDF as well sent out a few days after the closing of Backerkit. Well, I did, and haven't seen any e-mail yet regarding DoD. I got my pdf's of Barakus & the Player's guide; I kinda figured they'd be in that batch of mails. Any ideas?

I think Chuck covered it pretty succinctly. There's these fields and they're filled with blood...adventurers' blood.
Fields of Blood is a plains-based environment book with the same format as Dunes. It has three adventures, new monsters, spells, feats, magic items, equipment, archetypes and hazards that appear in the plains.

I don't know if you've already settled on the title "Fields of Blood" but there is another RPG product called the same thing - in case you want to change the name.
Maybe "Plains of Death" or "Plains of Desolation" would be better?
Or "Gruesome Grasslands"
Or "Flat Land Fever"
Or "It's the end of the hills as we know it and I feel fine..."
I'll stop now. :)

Same here Changing Man. If you scroll up to my earlier inquiry, it looks like they anticipated a release on June 7th, but I don't think that happened (as it is now almost July).
TBH, I probably wouldn't have backed the LCoB. The main reason I did was to get the Dunes of Desolation pdf early...
