Is it my imagination or would these two classes multiclass fantastic together? take 5 levels in gunslinger, then the rest can go into slayer. Fantastic BAB, access sneak attack, albeit at reduced rate. Accessing the rouge tricks looks pretty good as Many would benefit the build. And favored target lines up pretty nicely with using a gun, kind of like aiming or some such. Has anyone explored this option?

Sounds like a fun multi-class, but I haven't explored any rouge options. I would be afraid for my complexion.

It is good, certainly. I am not sure if it better than multiclassing with fighter though (weapon master, at least 3 lvls, 4 are ideal IMO). But you can do both.

When I was looking at weapon master it wasn't really looking real good. Sure I'd get a little more damage, and don't sunder my stuff is nice. But at first glance its looking like the slayer has more versatility. I'm stuck right now between a slayer and a rouge. I'll see if I can get a few basic builds together.

I've actually been thinking about this combo for a little bit. You could really do a sniper style build combining the two.

Slayer is definately a better choice that a rogue.

Another issue though is that with two lvls of Trophy Hunter ranger you can take extra grit as a bonus feat and a 1st lvl deed of your choice (Quickclear / Up Close and Deadly / Focused Aim / something else). It is more tempting than the slayer IMO, escpecially if you can take advantage of the one of the above deeds.
