The same way you said you would PvP people for comments made here on these boards?

The same way he downgraded TEOs association with T7V when I guess he felt they did not suck up to him enough during the Treaty of Rovagug debacle.

The same way he drove off so many of his members and many are with Pax now.

TEO was smart to replace him with Lifedragn, but that was no surprise, it was months in the making.

Shall I continue? I have more.... A lot more. I've been getting PMs for over a year, some even from Andius.

1. I think "many" is a pretty gratuitous number, and probably inaccurate.

2. Let members speak for themselves on why they joined Pax, or let them not as they see fit. I don't think any have stated their reasons for joining Pax on these forums. I also don't remember anyone filling out "cause Andius" when putting in an application with us.

I am beginning to feel like Pax is like Bloody Mary. Trust me if you speak for us or our members three times in a mirror nothing happens. Magic isn't real.

I did not mention by name, on purpose, but Andius always tries to throw Pax into the mix, it would have never dawned on me to do so in the first place.

Waruko,

He doesn't mean it I am sure. 8)

Ho hum.... I'm tired, had my daily does of forum PvP. Thanks Andius, perhaps another round tomorrow. Big snow storm here in the North East, so I'll probably be home. Dev Blog tomorrow, I'm wondering what that will bring??

No it doesn't matter where it came from. At least not until you can provide a quote of me saying I will kill anyone who aggravated me on the forums. <----(Or maybe you could just cut the last part out of that statement. It's not like your leader hasn't done that kind of thing before.)

Because I didn't say it, and you can't provide a source for me saying it from anywhere. All you have is a theoretical:

"A medium rep player will deal with most of these and sometimes kill off people they 'just don't like' for instance if I killed anyone who aggravated me on the forums."

That is pretty obviously a theoretical. It was clarified before and after that I'll be shooting for high rep.

But for dishonesty and UNC it's-a-pattern. In-fact our entire enmity is born of your willful misrepresentations of my positions.

PS. You never did clarify Bludd. Where in the heck did you get the idea that Ryan had stated can flipping is not griefing? I cannot think of anything he has ever said that even hinted at such a position much less "clearly stated".

PPS. Feel free to ask Lifedragn who approached him about his current position, and any TEO member whether or not they tried pressuring me into doing so. Because the answer was it was my idea, and I was not pressured by anyone. TSV is fully aware of what we discussed and did not do. Charlie George has already said enough on your "many" myth. Thanks for that by the way. I really do appreciate it.

I just don't know how much more plainly I can state this. I'd rather... run a simplistic murder simulator for the enjoyment of a tiny fraction of sociopaths.

Now I see it! Bluddwolf has been right all along!

That would be cute if it wasn't so pathetically inaccurate to anything that anyone has said. You are still hung up on the "protecting newbs" thing, as if without you the mechanics alone won't protect new players in the new player areas.

What you seem to be hoping for, and calling for, but have no intention or capability of providing on your own, is those same mechanical protections wherever you travel.

The way I envision the map looking is small islands of blue (for its citizens and friends) surrounded by a sea of red (wild hexes, uncontrolled, and monster hexes).

Very different than the EVE Map where there is a huge central "Blue Area" surrounded by a ring of orange and then a sea of red. But more similar to Darkfall with its islands of safe zones.

Before new players venture out into the sea of red, they are being encouraged by the design of the devs to link up with player groups / settlements to have safer passage to the PC settlements. Then from there, they can travel into the wilderness with as little or as much player provided protection as they choose.

Many MMOs with PvP develop a degenerate culture where any character that can be killed is killed. This then drives people who don't like dying pointlessly out of the game, leaving only people who are ok with pointless killing.

I have said from day one that our goal is a game with lots of PvP and little meaningless PvP. Killing newbies "just because" is the ultimate definition of meaningless PvP. We'll just work and work and work, with in game mechanical systems, community management and supervisory authority to keep punishing people who kill meaninglessly, especially if they're meaninglessly killing newbies.

I just don't know how much more plainly I can state this. I'd rather shut down the game and quit than run a simplistic murder simulator for the enjoyment of a tiny fraction of sociopaths.

Two comments on this bold part....

1. The game you so disparage, EVE Online, Ryan had clearly stated is Not a Murder Simulator.

2. Much as it sounds impressive, I believe GW has passed beyond the point of no return as far as shutting down this project, for any reason. Too much money and time invested to step away and PFO becomes vaporware before OE. At this point, its an empty threat and probably always was beginning with the first announcement of the project. That is, at least from Paizo's perspective.

There is no chance this game will be shut down, and no chance that it will be a Murder Sim, based on Ryan's definition of one.

Didn't someone tell me that if you click the slashed-zero in the "Last Post" column the thread itself disappears from view entirely?

It doesn't. I did it to this thread but it still shows up emboldened if there is a new reply. It simply removes the (2) count of unread posts.

I only came back in because I saw yours was the last post.

If you click the "∅" link for the thread, and you click the "HIDE ∅" link (up near the Search box), then you should no longer see the thread.

Okay good because responding to the thread removes the new post filter.
