Sorcerer's Shadow Well and a Familiar

The Exchange

"Shadow Well (Sp): At 9th level, you can use the Stealth skill even while being observed and without cover or concealment, as long as you are within 10 feet of a shadow other than your own."

So if I have a familiar (perhaps via Eldritch Heritage), and I am within 10 feet of his shadow, I can use Stealth as per above? Just making sure that's not too cheesy.


They changed a few places of "shadow" to "area of dim light"

So to keep if from being cheesy I would go with at least a square of dim light required


If I remember one of the HiPS was changed that way

Yes. Just be careful because its going to make your familiar a target.


Unless they errata this into the (Su) ability it's obviously intended to be, yes, you can share it with your familiar.
