Not a novel, no. As a reader who's followed other series, I've always wanted to know what happened next more than I wanted to know what happened before. I suspect many feel the same way, but the fact that you ask shows that opinion isn't unanimous.
However, I might like to tell the "origin story" in another medium if the opportunity were to arise. As the characters have evolved, I've sketched out a few different ways their first meeting happened, so it'd be fun to have to choose one.

I just read your 2011 book set in Egorian I really liked it and was sad when The heroine was hung at the end of the story but fully understood why it happened it was in Egorian after all.
