This is so exciting! I've lurked on Paizo's message board for a few years now, and this time I'm going to stop being a coward and try to submit something. I can't wait to vote on everyone's items!

Good for you, Pamela! My advice is start reading up on Golarion/other rounds now. I wasn't expecting to get in at all when I did, and I honestly can't remember how I even managed to produce the content for the following rounds when I'd done so little research/practice.

It also provides links to all the prior winners, their entries for each round. It is an ongoing notebook, hope it helps.
NB Appendices: last results will likely need the links re-checking once this years competition starts, but the on page text is correct.

I see the chatter is starting up .... RPG Suprstar is close and I have spent some time in development of my submission.
I have thrown off the disappointment of last year's formatting error, which cost me heavily.
So ... a very early GOOD LUCK to all of the submitters and may your hard work pay off.
Has it been a year already? Got to limber up my fingers for typing, and get ready to be lashed to the keyboard again. I want to keep better track of what I am seeing and voting on this year.
So good luck all! For newbies remember that there are a number of successful entries to look at. And there are LOADS of failed bids to consider, which actually can give you far more important information when coupled with the critiques that accompany them. Do your research and come out fighting! :D

It'll be the first archetype for the Commoner class: Crazy Cat Lady. She trades out her ability to have a clean, odor-free house for three cat animal companions per level.

So at this point, they'll probably announce in the next week.
Unless Tuesday has a playtest update. Monday went to PaizoCon, so tis possible next Monday. Meh, guessing is worse than waiting, it'll be soon enough :) More important than when they announce is the date when R1 entries are due. How much time do I have left to submit?!? :)
