Sense Motive (Int) trait?

Advice

Scarab Sages

Hello, I was wondering if any of you fine people know of a preexisting trait that swaps Sense Motive from being a (Wis) skill to an (Int) skill?

In the same way that Student of Philosophy swaps Bluff and Diplomacy for most aspects.

I've had a good look around but can't find anything but I don't have all books nor all datasets for herolab so...

Thanks!

Wanna do a wizard with snake style? I looked at the stuff i have and cudent find your trait. Sorry.

That was part of it, but primarily wanted to build an Enchanter who had all the relevant face skills maxed without relying on stats other than intelligence.

Diplomacy is +23 at level 1. But I just can't reconcile being that good at diplomacy with being crappy/average at reading people.

And my rolled stats mean that I can't afford to put anything into wisdom (Boohoo).

Ah well, I'll plead with the GM to make a trait for me. "Reasoned Diplomat" or something that swaps out Wis for Int. Thanks for looking anyway

Well, there is "student of philosophy", a trait that allows use of Int for most diplomacy/bluff rolls. But not sense motive.

Which book is that in?

Is your avatar Nicolas Cage?

Anyways;
On the contrary, my Vanara Qinggong Monk is GREAT at reading people, but unfortunately is awful at negotiating.

It kind of makes sense to have one without the other. I'm an average intelligence in the real world, but when it comes to reading people I know what's up before they even talk. A lot of my booksmart friends can't read people for crap, even if their IQ is up in the 130s area.

I did a lot of searching, and I've found nothing that converts SM to being INT based instead of WIS.

Not to derail, but how do you have a +23 Diplomacy at level 1? The most I could get was +13 (5Int+1Rank+3Skill Focus+3Class Skill+2Persuasive). Not that I don't believe you, but I am curious about if this is what my next oracle will do.

Cheers WilliamOak already mentioned Student of Philosophy in the opening post ;)

+23 Diplomacy breakdown is (I think)

+1 Rank (+1)
+3 Class skill (+4)
+5 Intelligence (+9)
+2 Persuasive (+11)
+2 Silver Tongued human trait (+13)
+3 Skill focus diplomacy (+16)
+2 Enchanter class skill (+18)
+2 Illuminator trait (+20)
+3 Thrush familiar (+23)

If I found a trait that would do what I want for Sense Motive I'd take a drawback and still kepp Illuminator and Student of Philosophy.

With spells it would be higher

There was a thread recently where someone wanted the highest possible level one Diplomacy roll to abuse a bad house rule so that the GM would abandon said house rule. I believe they managed to get a +23 in there.
