Hello All,
I do not own the Bestiary 3 so I don't know what familiars are on page 112-113. Within the PRD it states a 7th lvl Arcane Caster that's Lawful Neutral can have a Kami, Shikigami as a familiar. Is this a legal familiar in PFS? If so I'd be tempted to buy the Bestiary 3. I can't find any info anywhere telling what familiars are listed on pages 112-113 of Bestiary 3.

"You there! Guard!"
"Yes, sergeant?"
"Are you the nincompoop responsible for letting that confounded wizard in to disturb Her Grace?"
"Well, um, yes, sergeant, 'cept it don't sound so good when you put it that way."
"I shouldn't think so! What were you thinking? You know Her Grace had left strict orders not to be disturbed."
"Well, sergeant, see, he had his pig with 'im."
"His what!"
"His pig, sergeant. I wasn't going to let him in, just as you say, on account of the Duchess wantin' to be left alone. But he gave me this story, 'bout her really wantin' to know what he'd found out. And I wasn't gonna let him, but he had a pig."
"I see. Of course. Well, don't let it happen again, guardsman."
"No, sergeant!"
It's well known that having a pig around with you makes you more persuasive, charasmatic, and suave. You can buy your sweetie any amount of choclates or jeweled baubles, but that can't hold a candle to the seductive power of a man with a pig.

Well, everything IS better with bacon...

why un charismatic? A Cute Widdle Piggie with a bow would be adorable.. oh sure youd have to deal with that whole issue of your familiar occasionally growing up...
I think the point he was making is that you can choose to make an uncharismatic character who's still really good at diplomacy.
Pig familiar, a Trait, Skill Focus, and Charisma 5 (Dwarf with dump stat) with one rank could give Cha modifier -3, but Diplomacy +7 at level 1. (Don't actually use this without checking my math and rules recall. My math is usually fine, but the rules recall not so much, and this may not be a legal PFS build.)

And you want student of philosophy so your -3 charisma modifier to diplomacy turns into a +6 intelligence based one! No kill like overkill.

Just don't tell the pig that the bonus is because you're implying you have 200 pounds of bacon to share as a bribe.

Even better, take the clever wordplay trait from the pathfinder primer: your diplomacy goes based on your int instead of your charisma. Thats a 6 point swing for most dwarven wizards.
