Please join me in congratulating Jon Cary as the newest recipient of the PFS Campaign Service Award.
Jon has served as the Dallas, TX Venture-Captain since September 2011. His efforts have fostered growth and community cohesion in his region. He makes my job easier and I thank him for that,
He has also served as my lead HQ Volunteer at Gen Con in 2012 and 2013. He worked throughout the 11 months between the two conventions to help me formulate plans to make all aspects of PFS at Gen Con run more smoothly. He willingly gave up all of both of his Gen Cons to make sure that all PFS fans had the best experience possible.
He has my highest respect and most sincere thank you for all of his work. Without him, PFS would not be where it is today.
Congratulations Jon Cary. You are now PFS number 714 and one of the pillars that Society is built upon!

Thanks, Mike!
Honestly, everything wouldn't be as smooth and efficient at Gen Con without the help and support of all my HQ volunteers who help out with mustering, collecting tickets and reporting sheets, handing out water, Chronicles and tokens to GMs, and prepping clipboards for the marshals.
Most of all, however, this year's vast improvements are due to the experience and skills of my HQ co-lead, Wes Nicholson, and I would be remiss if I didn't thank him publicly for his efforts during the year and at the show.

Sharing credit with the team...classy move. Congrats.

I met Mike, Wes, and Jon at Gen Con this year. A bunch of really great stand-up guys, I think, just from my limited interactions with them.
I think PFS is in great hands with you all, and frankly, I thought the whole PFS operation at Gen Con this week was really first class.
Congratulations, Jon, and thanks to you and the others!

I have known Jon for many years, and I can say for certain that this guy has PFS in his blood! I'm glad the rest of the campaign staff has recognized his excellence, hard work, and dedication. While it takes a lot of people to make this crazy campaign a living entity, it is people like him who work their tails off so excessively for the love of the game.
Congrats, Jon!
