L6 Wiz needs advice for next feat to take

Advice

I am an enchantment wiz with these feats / opposed is univ and divination

Spell focus Enchant
G spell focus Enchant
Imp familiar

this is my first char in PFS play and was wondering is there were any suggestions to what might be my next feat to take?

thanks

You can't have universal as your opposed

I would say since it looks like you're enchantment focused to go with things that would help spread the enchantment love. Like heighten spell. Piercing spell. Or if you have the time to get spell focus (necromancy) and ranks in religion, Threndonic Spell to enchant the undead

I don't believe you can oppose Universal magic, because "universal" magic isn't actually a school of magic.

"Magic" chapter of Core Rulebook wrote:
Almost every spell belongs to one of eight schools of magic. A school of magic is a group of related spells that work in similar ways. A small number of spells (arcane mark, limited wish, permanency, prestidigitation, and wish) are universal, belonging to no school.

There's probably some confusion between "Arcane School" and "school of magic". There is a Universalist Arcane School, but not a Universal school of magic.

You choose the Arcane School of one school of magic, and oppose two schools of magic (as opposed to Arcane Schools).

Echo what David and Tom said. can't ban universal, choose another school.

Secondly. If you're focused on enchantments you need the spell focus' because they are save negates spells.

HOWEVER. Familiar is more powerful, due to wand of ill-omen. Have your familiar use it (Azata lyrakin has the best UMD bonus') They then have to roll twice.

Purely power speaking, Lyra is the strongest option. though I would still take the other feats when they become available.

I third the note you cannot take universal spell as an opposed school - to your question I would suggest some odd choices - you are moving into the power of games where you will be targeted more.

Improved Initiative (always important for enchanters to have the first word - not so important if you are using a lot of 1 round spells (like dominate person).

Toughness (for more hit points)

Nimble moves (to be able to take a 5 foot step even in difficult terrain - ignore the first 5 feet of difficult terrain always)

Blind-fighting (you can move full speed in darkness/blind, melee attackers (like rogues) don't get +2 to hit you and your ar not flatfooted.

Combat Casting (to improve your chance to get that spell off)

Eschew Materials (taking away your spell component pouch does not take away your spells - not as useful as the others but a consideration)

Heighten spell - not just for spells of higher DC, but you can start giving your friends heighten continual flame spells and making them happier.

Great Fortitude - wizards just don't do well with poisons and diseases

Spell Penetration - outsiders are pains in some location, and a lot of them have spell resistance

Reach Spell - make touch spells ranged touch, make close spells a whole lot less close.

Sovereign Court

I'd probably get Improved Initiative if I were you - you've got a much better chance of enchanting someone if you can go before your fighter smacks them upside the head. Alternately, Silent/Still Spell can be very handy for an enchanter, as they let you cast an enchantment without raising suspicion.

Besides those, I'd pick up Persistent Spell - a persistent Hold Person can be really, really hard for someone with a low Will save to break free of. It's usually better than Heighten for increasing the difficulty of saving against your spells. Consider getting a rod of Threnodic Spell so you're not nerfed against undead, too - especially considering that a lot of undead have piss-poor will saves.

Shadow Lodge

I'll second Improved Initiative, and will add Extend Spell if you tend to do any buffing.

You also seem to be two feats short. In PFS, you should have one free Spell Focus that replaces Scribe Scroll. Then, for instance, if you took Greater Spell Focus as your 5th level bonus feat, that only leaves Improved Familiar as your 5th level feat slot. Where are your 1st and 3rd level feats?
