CLUMBSY OAF. WATCH WHERE YOU ARE GOING!

Liberty's Edge

SORRY GUYS I WAS IN THE BATHROOM
WHAT DID I MISS

P.S. DON'T GO IN THERE FOR AWHILE

HELP! I've fallen down and I cen't get up!

Looking still at Alissa his leader.

"What do I do boss? They are trying to take AST away. They also drew their weapons so I drew my ax I only asked them to leave my friend alone."

How can you talk with your jaw unhinged like that?

There is a bang and a shout of "CEASE" that comes from the door.

In the door are four more members of the Watch.
One them has silver bars on his shoulders.

"What is all this ruccus?"

*Slip and slide on my belly over to the edge of the grease, attempt to get up*

reflex 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 = 13

James, you are able to get up.

Lieutenant to the four Watch who have their swords drawn: "You lot, pick up your companion and stand over there at attention."

"Now, what is this all about?"

Liberty's Edge

I cast Greater INvisibility on all of us. "Run, guys!!!"

Looking to Alissa. "I have a feat for that. So what should I do?"

*move over by the ranger and nasty*

He continues to ignore the incoming guards but still keeps and eye on them awaiting orders.

He offers James Bard a hand up if he takes it.

He is waiting for answers, and so am I. Why was there about to be a fight; why is Am Sorcerer on the floor in cuffs?

*Gladly accepts the hand of nasty*

"It's just a big misunderstandin, we wuz eatin and gamblin and these louts came in here and started accusing AMST of poisionin or something"

Dark Archive

With his vast strength he easily helps the bard to his feet. Then he talks in earnest to Alissa.

"Me no want them to take away AMSTY. Me asked them nicely not to take him away. They no listen not listen to me so me got angry and asked again. Then they took out their swords so I got angry and took out my axe but I did not do anything to them ... yet."

Who did Am S poison?

Liberty's Edge

Where'd he get the poison?

tries to stand to say something but slips in the greasy jelly anyway

The guards who were arresting Am S begin to look uncomfortable. Despite being At Attention, they appear to be shuffling and swaying.
They are not meeting anyone's eyes.

Stop reading my notes. I am quite capable of doing it.

Then get on with it!

Humph!

Babby, you missed Am S get arrested by the Watch, a fight almost break out between the Watch and the party, a Bard who wants to join you, and the name and directions to the person who is looking for The Tomb of Borrors!

There also an unknown woman with a green glob on her shoulder.

That would be me.

*waves*

"Yes this nice woman is trying to help us too." he smiles at Jenny.

"Still not sure why they take our friend away. Whatcha ya want me to do Pouty lipped woman?"

Knowledge check: Arcane 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19

Again until I get it right

OK. HERE IS MY SAVE. I DON'T KNOW WHEN MY CHARACTER STARTED HAVING SOMETHING CALLED A REFLEX SAVE, THOUGH. I THOUGHT WE WERE PLAYING FIRST EDITION. I WANT A SWORD, SINCE CLERICS NO LONGER HAVE WEAPON RESTRICTIONS.

REFLEX SAVE, WHATEVER THAT MEANS: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 1 = 17

RISE AND LOOM.

[dice=REFLEX SAVE, WHATEVER THAT MEANS]1d20+1

*yeah is this 1E or PF or a mishmash?, I'm guessing Mishmash*

Yea, but let's change seats at the gaming table before the Old Doc Flumph makes his decision.

*Looks around slyly, gets up,snickers*

Sorry, I was late getting into the game. I don't have any 1st adition books.

All my money went to pay for medical school, books and cadavers.
After 20 years working for the hospital from hell, I finally opened my own practice. It was much easier to get cadavers then.

Anyway: Am H, you did not fall face first into the spitoon.

Am S, Nasty helps you up.

James, you are still in cuffs but you are now standing.

Gassy, you loom over everyone.

Wait a minute. Stay in one place.

"Hi. I am Jenny."

*When and how did i get cuffed? Did we confuse you when me and AMST switched positions?*

*Runs off to one of numerous threads complaining about my DM has a god complex*

HOW DO GUARDS REACT

Okay. Am S is in the cuffs, and James is getting off the floor. Do I have everything right now?

The woman with the green glob has introduced herself as Jenny.
Tell me about yourself Jenny so I can keep things straight.

Gassy, the guards at attention are quaking in their boots. The other guards are looking at you warily.
Some of the patrons have passed out in fear while the rest are huddled in the corner.

Give me the key the these shackles or the Gazebo eats. You DON"T want to be part of that.

Watch Lieutenant: "First tell me why you are in cuffs."

Two basisless accusations. Assualt, which no bodily harm was none. My companions acts up from time to time. The second charge was the unlawful use of poison on this man..., but I assume your guards had an ulterior motive as well.

gestures to Am Healer

As you can see, he needs no help with ale or lager. And I've never used such wicked tonics in my life.

We're tired from a long days travel and we're just looking to wind down and sleep for the night. My traveling companion, gesturing to Ranger Alissa, and I are looking for the Tomb of Borrors.

Diplomacy = 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18
Sense Motive = 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21

The dice! They love me!

At the mention of The Tomb of Borrors!, the Lieutenant gets a strange look on his face. It is fleeting, but while you expected the look to be one of horror, it looked more like sadness, or maybe pity.

His attitude quickly changes to outrage. He goes straight to the Watch standing to one side. At first you think he is going to strike them, but he restrains himself.

"It is bad enough our new mayor has promised a cash reward for every Watch member who brings in a criminal with the one who brings in the most getting promoted, but now you are making trumped up charges against visitors!!!!?"
"Consider yourself confined to barracks until further notice. "

At that they file out, followed by two of his companions.

"I do apologize for your appalling treatment," he says as he uses a small crystal rod to unlock the cuffs. "Everyone is so eager for that promotion, they are bringing in anyone for the most slight of offenses. One of these days, one of them will try to arrest the wrong person and then who knows what will happen. I'm just glad I got here before you were taken before Judge McGilly. His justice sometimes don't fit the crime."

Liberty's Edge

"No problem. Where can I find him?"

"If you are contemplating suicide, you can find him at the courthouse in the town square."

DAMN I WANTED TO SLAUGHTER THE GUARDS.

Liberty's Edge

AM HEALER::
Maybe we can do it to the judge!

"And where can we find the baron, or whomever is advertising the tomb?"

I have that information. I suggest a good nights sleep and meet him in the morning.

Liberty's Edge

I go back to the room and get out my sleeping bag. "Wanna tell scary stories?"

usesa cantrip to "de-grease" himself

More than enough entertainment for me this morning.

Requets a simple rooom and goes to sleep
