About Nesod the Monkchinegun
Nesod was born in the successor states of Tian-Xia to loving parents...despite the child being quite rude and, frankly, kinda stupid. After going through numerous arcane tutors and schools, at the age of 15 he joined his nation's (He can't even remember it's name) army as an archer. He gradually became more and more skilled with the bow until, after one battle, he was captured and sold into slavery. It took almost a year to get his hands on a bow and arrows afterward, but once he did, he made up for lost time, killing his "master."
His master, naturally, was a powerful baron. On the run from vengeful bounty hunters, he fled to the Inner Sea, changing his name to Nesod to throw his hunters off the scent. (The Monkchinegun he thought up later.) He ended up stumbling on a Pathfinder expedition, and after protecting them from monsters, they hired him.
