Yesterday, as my game rapped up, my party was fighting an Advanced Purple Worm and due to some mistakes lost their Awakened Bear Barbarian (Everyone calls him the Bear-barian.) So my question is: what would you do if you brought back an animal with Reincarnate? Do you make it a Humanoid or just return it to life as a bear?

For non-humanoid creatures, a similar table of creatures of the same type should be created.
Really, its up to your GM. The assumption is that everyone would be a humanoid and therefore use a human chart. You could probably use an expanded reincarnation list from the net or create a small one of your own. Alternatively bring him back as a bear or humanoid just for simplicity.

So basically, it should be brought back as another animal, but for the sake of simplicity (and possible hilarity) it could just be brought back as a humanoid.

On a scale of 1-10, how good at rapping would you say your players are?

The Bar-bear-ian makes more sense. =/

Do you mean the Awakened Bear? Because that's not an Animal, that's a Magical Beast. Just make a table of awesome magical beasts with abilities that'll get from reincarnate.
